Over in Orlando from the UK and my wife wanted to go here for her birthday after we saw it on Man V Food, so we took a 2 hour drive to visit. We ordered a 4 piece chicken to share with a couple of sides, more than enough for us both. The chicken was cooked to perfection, so moist... More

The good home cooking of the Amish grace this quaint restaurant. Sunday after church is busy, but they have great fried chicken. The pies are to die for, fruit or custard, yum!!!

Typical Amish Restaurant. We normally only do Breakfast at Yoders. It is superb!. Portions are large. Home cooking type Dinners. Not sure about Lunch, but everything we have ever had there has been good except for Fish. Their Friday F&C needs to be worked on. but then there are plenty of seafood places in Sarasota & surrounding areas to enjoy.

Stopped by with my family for an early dinner. My meatloaf was under cooked. I asked if they had a microwave and could cook it more. The waitress said it was done but I cant eat pink beef. After it was cooked a little more, it was good.

Not much Amish left at Yoders Restaurant. Food average, amish ambiance zero, sad. To us looks like an everyday place Would not drive so far an othertime

I have stopped at various places that say they do Amish Food. That raises expectations. This restaurant met and exceeded my expectations. Absolutely great fried chicken and large "bird" size also. I eat a lot and the 1/2 chicken was more than I should have eaten. And the desserts were great. I had the sugar free apple pie and my... More

I have been a customer for many years. I remember the manager as a child who could not see over the checkout counter. This is a family operation oriented to family customers with simple, home-style cooking. Ample portions (if you order the full chicken dinner, bring help!) are a hallmark. In nearly 30 years I have never had a bad... More

Plump pieces of chicken, extremely tasty but a bit over-fried at the edges since the breast meat was so thick. French fries are probably the best -- hot and tasty -- we've tasted in the Sarasota-Venice area. Potato cakes were a bit too doughy and void of taste. In the words of my wife, "green beans" were fabulous. I agree.... More
