We have visited this bakery since 2012 when it was a brand new business. In fact, even wrote a complimentary review at that time. So during our two week visit to Siesta Key we took our friends with us because we enjoy their cake. We arrived about 3 minutes before closing and as we turned around a very friendly waitress... We happened onto this restaurant while spending a long weekend in Siesta Key. The family is warm and inviting, the breakfast was delicious, and those RUM CAKES - we went back twice more and only was in town for four days... need I say more?

My wife and I were stopping at a business in the same strip mall and just wandering when we saw the restaurant and bakery. We decided to check it out and ordered breakfast. The portions were generous and very tasty! I had an egg/bacon croissant with lettuce and cheese and my wife had an omelette. We left very full but,... More

We were here for lunch. Nice menu. Service was professional and quick. Food taste was a little bland....both my wife and I were looking for more flavor. Well prepared but seasoning seemed to be missing.

Had breakfast sandwiches to go. Very good but a bit pricey. Cute place with outdoor courtyard. Would go back!

The young man serving us our coffee told me after he served our coffee, that they offer no milk, only half & half. He informed me that they had only two portions of milk remaining but were unwilling to share that with me for my coffee. It was only to be used with cappuccino. Not a very customer friendly response.... More

the Coffees are always served with half & half milk but he explained to you that we have milk in the coffee-machine witch comes out in the combo of a Cappuccino or a Latte but not alone , (that was a misunderstanding) he just wanted to let you know were normal 2% milk comes with. its not any servers fault... Walking by I noticed they had a bakery sign and mentioned bread. Thinking about good German bread, I went in--hoping to get some. The young man motioned to seating and, when I said I didn't want to sit down (I was standing in the bakery area and had not entered the restaurant area) he said in a dismissive voice "we... More

We stopped by to look and left with 2 slices of the best cake I have ever had. Yes, it is infused with rum, but it is absolutely delicious! We have been having little bites ever since. We will go back for breakfast. Very interesting place!

The breakfast was good, we had an assortment of egg dishes (breakfast sandwich, omelettes, etc), all of which were what you would expect. Where they really shine is their cakes. Mostly liquor cakes, but they also have pastries. We tried multiple kinds, but the caramel cake was our favorite. It was made with vodka so there wasn't much of a... More
