To say that the Sahara's food is delicious is an understatement! I absolutely love their grilled chicken and hummus! The chicken is juicy and tasty and the hummus is smooth and light! I've been having a blast introducing my friends to this place. They all walk away loving it as much as I do!

The Sahara recently moved from its long-time spot on E Lafayette to across the street in the Parkway Shopping Center. Much nicer inside, more room between the tables, and a little quieter atmosphere, but the same great food and service. We ordered lamb kebabs, but our friendly and efficient waiter said the lamb shanks were the special for the day.... More

Brought a friend for her first time visit. She wanted to know why she had never been here before. We both just had a fantastic dinner. Love the new location.

Delicious, fresh gyros, hummus and baba ganoush. Fast, friendly service. So many great local places around!

We escaped hurricane Matthew and temporarily relocated to Tallahassee for a few days. We tried Sahara on a lark. The food is really, really good. As my father said many times, it is "morish" as you always want more!

Hadn't been here in years and had always been somewhat indifferent to the place. Food had been good in the past, but never remarkable. Probably why we hadn't visited in a few years. The menu was new and a bit more interesting than in the past and there are several things I would like to have tried. But I selected... More

Love Mediterranean food so have been wanting to eat here and just tried it last week for late Saturday dinner. Was impressed at the inside of restaurant; very cozy and tasteful décor and lighting. Someone really knows how to pick colors and styles and make it work! We started with falafel appetizer, which I've never tried. Now that was disappointing;... More

We decided to try Sahara because it is close to work. It isn't much to look at on the out side, but the parking lots was jammed. Inside is your average sit down place, but there wasn't a free table. Just then, someone left, and we grabbed the table...don't wait to be seated. The menu is everything you could hope... More

We moved from Tally but when we visit, Sahara is always on a list to frequent. The lentil soup is a must have and the Chicken Shawarma wrap can't be beat. The servers are warm and attentive.

A group of six friends met at Sahara on a Friday for lunch. All liked what they had. The grape leaf wraps my wife had were delicious, as was the Gyro I had. Service was very good. Tables were bare with small paper napkins. Sound level was rather high even tho the place was only half full. Parking was more... More
