I have always enjoyed my meals at Georgio's. George or his daughter usually greets you at the door and welcomes you in. The food is continental with a Greek flair. The steaks are always cooked perfectly, the fish is fresh and the nightly specials are...More

Found this place by accident. Have been going to Tallahassee for years and never found this place. Went after the football game about 9:00 pm. No problem getting a table and found a nice menu. My wife and I split the etouffee we still took...More

My wife and I are almost as old as Georgio, who still greets his clientele. This Tallahassee venue has been through, by my count, four iterations: two in downtown, including the "Spartan", which later located closer to the Capitol on Monroe Street. Then, for years,...More

We went for an early dinner and were promptly seated. Our waiter was friendly although he made no suggestions and there were no specials of the day. We tried the escargot... the puff pastry was undercooked and gooey. The escargot were average. We ordered the...More

Georgio's is a throw back to the 1950's. While the portions are large, they are over salted and completely lacking in creativity or awareness of 21st century dining trends. The grouper may be fresh but it is cooked to a dry tasteless state. The old...More

What a mistake this was. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, grouper entree, and my wife had prime rib. At first, it seemed everything tasted great, but the prime rib was cold. The grouper had a strange taste to it, but I didn't give it much...More

Had an excellent meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Did not feel rushed. The lamb shank fell off the bone and no knife was really necessary. The Greek lemon chicken soup was perfect. Very extensive menu, something for everyone with chef specials offered each evening. Highly...More

After driving 12 hours from south Florida to escape Hurricane Irma, I wasn't really hungry when we had dinner. I had a prime rib sandwich on a hoagie roll. It was nice and tender and tasted good. My wife had the lamb shank, the portion...More

My family and I went here because it had outdoor seating, and we were able to bring our dog. We were worried that it wouldn't have good food because it was almost completely empty, but we all enjoyed it.

Great food, large menu, varied choices, generous portions. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Ordered the Tuna tower, and crab cake appetizers. Excellent! For entrees we ordered surf and Turf and Snapper Augustine with grilled shrimp on the side. We all enjoyed our entrees but felt the grilled...More

Georgio's Fine Food & Spirits is an upscale family owned establishment specializing in fresh local seafood and hand cut USDA prime beef steaks. Our eclectic menu highlights proprietor George Koikos's Greek roots with our large section of Mediterranean dishes, international wines, craft brews and top notch spirits. Mr Koikos has owned restaurants in Tallahassee Florida for over 50 years and believes in doing things the old fashioned way without shortcuts. Everything on our menu is made in house from scratch using the finest ingredients available. We have several private banquet spaces that can seat from 6-76 guests and are perfect for hosting any special occasion or business meeting. Our warm and knowledgeable staff will make you feel at home and you can expect to be greeted by a family member while dining with us...most likely George himself or his daughter Eleni. Here at Georgio's you come for the food and leave our friend. We look forward to seeing you at Georio's soon!
