Enjoyed dessert with friends at this historic restaurant. We had fun looking around the rooms of this massive and ornate place.

Loved the place we had to visit twice ! Our first night we paid extra to watch the flamenco. It was a very good performance, we enjoyed it very much. As for the food, it depends on what you order. I found my fish plate...More

Good entertainment & food. Not for dieters. good wine too. Heavy Cuban/Caribbean type food, flavorful, plenty of oil and fat...depending on what you get. Save up your calories. Gets busy during show times so rsvp early.

My brother and his wife took me and mom when I was down for a visit. Nestled in a very pretty tourist area, the food was amazing and the Sangria to die for ...and I'm not usually a Sangria person. Excellent service.

Visited with a large family group and though our server seemed a little overwhelmed at first, we all had a great meal and really enjoyed the flamenco dancers. This is an old family favorite- the black bean soup and 1905 salad are legendary!

Columbia is a must-see if you have out of town guests. I am giving it four stars because of the location and ambiance. The food is fine. It's a very large menu. Everything is ok, but nothing is absolutely extraordinary. The good news is that...More

The place was packed, and lots of people waiting. We had reservations but still had to wait 20-30 minutes. It is a huge restaurant, lots of different rooms. The service and food was delicious. So many choices, love the fact the menu gives descriptions of...More

We do have a kids menu, you can find it on our website. Trip Advisor rules don't allow me to post a link to our website, but you can find it at Columbia Restaurant and add the usual dot and then the com ending.

Description
Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Serving lunch & dinner daily. Reservations accepted. In addition to award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine, the Columbia features flamenco dance performances nightly, Monday - Saturday. The Hernandez Gonzmart family has been making restaurant history since 1905 when they opened their landmark Columbia Restaurant, which today is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve the family's legacy that their great-grandfather Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. created over 113 years ago when he opened the Columbia as a corner café frequented by local cigar workers. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Our guests enjoy many of the same century-old family recipes that have made the Columbia famous like Paella "a la Valenciana," Snapper "Alicante," and the Original Cuban Sandwich. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside.
