So disappointed. Portions small and overpriced. We left still hungry and poorer. We will not return. Water view was okay. Server was okay.

This place could be so good, but apparently since it’s a beloved local place they don’t care to be good. We boated there from nearby Key Largo with 9 people. The hostess/server said she couldn’t move 2 tables together. Then she wouldn’t combine our checks...because we were at two tables. We watched them seat a party of 8 and then move two tables together! The food came out after a 45 minute wait and my scrambled eggs were like plastic on the top, a clear indication of being parked too long under a heat lamp. My wife’s eggs Benedict were solid, they should be a little runny when properly prepared. The mango tea was tasteless and may have just been water. The dining area was dark and dingy, and the restrooms were cramped and dirty. We had looked forward to eating where the locals go, but apparently the locals don’t mind the shortfalls of this place.More
Came here because of the good reviews for brunch. Lovely setting overlooking a lagoon. We were seated right away at about 11:30 am for brunch. The first thing I asked for was hot water with lemon. No lemon. So I opted for lime instead and...it was brought to me in a chipped cup. we promptly ordered our food and here it is 40 minutes later and we are still waiting for an uncomplicated order. Both ordered omelettes that were on the menu. Nothing fancy. Every once in a while, the waitress will stop by and say is everything OK but still no mention of when we could expect our food. needless to say, we will not be returning. Finally our omelettes and hashbrowns arrived. Hashbrowns weren't hot. Omelettes were just OK. And the restaurant was not at all crowded.More
Came in a quick lunch and it was good. Not the best meal we had in the keys but maybe the best value. Sat out-back by the canal and got a shrimp wrap which was tasty. Staff was friendly. Overall a good experience so I...would come definitely come back again.More
Great little spot for breakfast on the lagoon. Food was good with lots of variety but the views on the water were even better!
Literally, everything here is make to order, even homemade bread and pastry and the food and delicious. Sit outdoors and enjoy the view!
BEST LITTLE HIDDEN GEM IN THE AREA. LOCALS EAT HERE. THAT SAYS A LOT. This place has a great selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and burgers. We have also had breakfast here and it was delicious. Service is relaxed and friendly and it has great...Keys vibes. Hard to see from the road.. use GPS so you won’t miss this gem!More
Perfect place to have breakfast with family and friends! Food was delicious! Loved that it had an open space feel- the tables were adequately spaced apart. Great service! My family loves it here!
Amazeballs! Can't believe we've been 2 miles up the street from this place for years and never tried it before, we've got some breakfasts to make up! I had "The Works" and piled the 3 sunny side up eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and red homefried...potatoes all atop the 2 pancakes and went to town. Delicious! The missus had the "Not A Chicken Panini", which is a deconstructed grilled chicken and vegetables affair atop naan bread, bean paste on the bottom, avocado on the top, and a Key Lime Caesar. Holy cow, both SO good! We skipped dinner last night so that we can go back and fill up again today. :) The owner is the head chef, his family and his staff are super friendly and great at what they do. Visit them!More
Went for coffee 3 days in a row. Asked for a little cinnamon for the coffee. First 2 days server brought a teaspoon size to table. On the third day a new server said we have no cinnamon after asking the chef. Then a manager...comes out interrogating me who the server was the first 2 days that the server was going to be written up for serving me cinnamon. The manager equated giving a customer cinnamon was the equivalent of stealing from the business owner. I offered to pay for a bottle of cinnamon at that point so that an innocent server would not be written up for excellent customer service. I recently had heart surgery went for a relaxing cup of coffee and found my blood pressure going up to the point of feeling faint. The manager would not let it go and really upset me. Will never return.More
Best breakfast in the area - we ate here twice, sat outside on covered dock. Can't go wrong! The waiters were friendly and good value for the price.
Best breakfast our whole trip. Great pancakes. My so. Was headed to Seabase and we wanted to be sure he had a good meal before leaving. Almost too much to eat.
This is the best restaurant in the keys. The staff is friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. Good portion sizes. Great prices.
Great restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining available. We were hungry and did not want to wait for an outdoor table so we ate inside. Nothing fancy, but very good breakfast food. Waffles and bacon highly recommended. Great customer service.
Really great breakfast menu with chef's special touches (e.g., French toast soaked in orange juice for extra flavor; several kinds of egg Bennies). Lovely nautical setting on a typical Keys canal
