This place is a "must do"! The beach dog is a treat and a bargain as well. It is a gathering spot in the area and fun to hang out and people watch. If you like a Chicago-style hotdog, be sure to stop in.

Been coming to Anita's for a number of years...often. We stay very close to the Venice Jetty and have hot dogs at the Sand Castle regularly. You just can't buy hot dogs this size anywhere. They're HUGE! And reasonable. The Belly Buster ($3.50) is about 1 1/2" this and overfills the bun. Did I mention how good it tastes? Only... More

This is one of the best spots for a good view of the Venice Jetties. The food I had was average at best. The coffee was blah. I asked about the bagels and was told they were Lenders. I skipped it. The reviews say the hot dogs are good, maybe they are. The owner did not seem interested in good... More

Prior to our visit to Anita's we met a new resident of Venice while dining downtown. She told us we should not leave Venice without having one of Anita's hot dogs. The next day after walking down the beach from the Inn at the Beach I enjoyed one of her hot dogs. It was very delicious to say the least.... More

My local friend took me here and we enjoyed chili cheese dogs at the jetty. Delicious and took me back to my Florida beach days. The dogs hit the right spot and fast, friendly service added to the experience.

Anita's is a great little hot dog joint right on the Venice jetty. Grilled "Belly Buster" 1/4 lb hotdogs is favored. Grab a dog or two and sit at the picnic tables and watch the boats, dolphins and beautiful water go by! There are regulars that get off the plane and come directly to Anita's.

A must stop if your in the Venice area. The owners name is Anita. Her hot dogs are always Hot!!! Great times, atmosphere, view, and while eating these hot dogs you might see a dolphin or two.

Some of the best hotdogs around. Very peaceful and the staff was outstanding! Your tight on the Jetty and the view is so beautiful.

Great for a quick meal at the jetty. Problem is, it is not open enough hours throughout the week. North jetty has a better selection and is open more hours.

My family and I ate here this past weekend. The food was tasty, but I was very, very unimpressed with the service. The owner was very rude. As I sat down to eat with my family, I watched the way she treated every customer after me and, sadly, it was all the same for every customer. She showed no kindness,... More
