I had always wanted to try out the Waves restaurant here at Costa d'Este Resort and finally made it on back-to-back days! I've tried both the catered event side and the restaurant and neither one disappointed. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! We had a variety of meals on the restaurant side and everyone was raving about... More

I stopped in for a late afternoon Sunday brunch but it was sufficiently late that I barely made the cut off. I ordered the Cuban eggs benedict which turned out to be a very unusual (for me) dish. Instead of an English muffin, the chef's creation was heaped on a cracker which made it difficult to cut. The crabmeat and... More

We are here our first night and it was very nice! Table 55! Nice cocktails, apps and paella with other Cuban and local inspired assortment of selections to choose from. It was very good!

We were not staying at the hotel but stopped before we loved the vintage 60's vibe. The restaurant The Wave was beautiful and we had a nice table over looking the pool. Our server David was excellent and very thorough. We had the Cuban chicken and Cuban steak. We loved both dishes. We will be back.

This was our 3rd dinner at The Wave and again we had one of our best meals ever. I had the Tripletail fish dinner and my wife had the Scottish salmon, both with fresh vegetables and fingerling potatoes. For desert we both had the flowerless chocolate cake...as my wife said "to die for". Michelle, our waitress was great. The ambiance,... More

Hard to find a place to dine after 8pm in this sleepy town so this was a pleasant find. Ceviche was fresh, calamari was tender although perhaps a bit too much breading. Excellent salads. Service friendly and efficient.

I have a funny memory of the day I went to this restaurant. After fishing that day my family and I wanted to have Cuban food. I found this restaurant through this site witch had four stars. We couldn't find the restaurant at first but after asking around we finally found it. I discovered that it was the owner was... More

We ate many meals here from breakfast through dinner, just about every one, and it was delicious. The service is wonderful, especially Amal, and everyone is friendly from when you are greeted to when you leave. I will say with one exception of one server who was brusque on a couple occasions. She was the exception. The food is wonderful-... More

The noise from the kitchen and other tables was so loud that I could not hear the conversation at my table. The restaurant was more than half empty, but they sat all of the tables in the same area. The noise from the kitchen vents and prep was very loud. The waitress was very very very slow and rarely appeared,... More

Dear 'rexd0g', We appreciate you sharing feed back from your recent dining experience at the Wave. I am so sorry to read that the noise levels impacted your experience.
