The food was fantastic, the wine was great. We were all excited to go but this surpasses any expectations, the staff was helpful. I hope to return one day

The outdoor restaurant is in a beautiful and peaceful shaded setting. The wait staff was very accommodating. They have a QR code you can scan with your phone to view the menu in Hebrew or English. We wanted a complicated pizza and our waiter allowed...us to order a custom pizza. The salad was refreshing. We also enjoyed generously sized glasses of Petit Verdot. After our meal we enjoyed chocolates with a wine tasting session in English. Roi entertained us with the history of the winery and the family that started it. The pairing of 6 chocolates with 6 wines was excellent! And we enjoyed meeting new people. The price was extremely reasonable at 60 shekels per person.More
Oh dear! I should have realised there was a problem when the usually crowded car park was only 1/3 full. My wife and I have been enjoying a lunch treat at Tishbi Winery Restaurant for 20 years. But not now. The place even midweek lunchtime...was only 1/4 full. There was no buzz no great atmosphere only a skeleton staff who did not talk about the food. Instead of waiter service, you sit at a table , scan a QR code that is on your table and select from the menu on line , then you order and pay online and wait. Instead of the usual youthful interested staff there are 3 men cleaning the tables and helping with the app. Yes the food tastes as good as usual. But without any service , no need to tip. The whole experience is anonymous like sitting in a service station cafeteria.. Really disappointing.More
This is a nice rustic dairy restaurant. Seating is all outdoors which was good because of Corona but there were no outside fans, so that it was very hot. The food was average & portions generous. Service wasn't very good. A little on the expensive...side.More
Went for lunch. The food is top class and it has a lovely ambience in a great setting. Not too expensive and big portions. Only thing that lets it down is the staff. The servers are friendly and helpful but pretty incompetent . I can...see no reason why both meals could not be served at the same time or why I had to ask three times for water. This however is not unusual for Israel but it dos not make it acceptableMore
Came here on Sunday for lunch and it was perfect! Plenty of outdoor seating but not too hot. The food was great too!
Went for lunch. The ambiance was superb and the service attentive. The food was delicious. The menu had a good choice, of which the Cheese Pie was superb. The wine was great (it IS a winery!). Will definitely go back for more.
Excellent food with very good selection of dairy/fish menu. The service was good. Although priced a bit high, it is still overall a restaurant I would recommend.
Servings are expensive and small. We ordered an anchovy pizza and it had very little anchovy, such that not all the pizza slices had any anchovy at all! eggplant starter was nothing to write home about but cost a lot. tuna salad had only a...few small pieces of tuna and little volume. service was mediocre - they kept on forgetting to bring the food and when i went looking for the waitress, she was eating herself and told me to find another waiter! coffee did not arrive with dessert, and ice cream for cakes only arrived when the cakes were half eaten.More
we had a very bad experience starting with waiting 30 min to be set (while there was plenty of empty tables that we were told are saved for friends of the family). Mediocre food, horrible service and lousy atmosphere. Go somewhere else.
We met up with friends for brunch. We weren't able to book a table, unfortunately, & had to wait some time because we were 8. It was very busy, but the wait was worth it. We were still able to order the breakfast menu. Some...of us ate from the breakfast & others from the dairy lunch menu. All of us were very happy with our orders, mine was delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant due to the pleasant setting. A lovely place to eat & was very good value.More
Loved the place, loved the food. Wine, food great meat on Friday, chocolate for desert, what more can you ask?
This is my favorite restaurant. Not just in Zichron Yaakov or in Israel. It’s my favorite restaurant anywhere, including NYC!
Great location bad service and mediocre food..... Enjoy the bakery and the winery Skip the restaurant for hamburger up the road
This was our third visit in recent years and it was well worth the detour. We ate outdoors under the dense grape arbor, cooled on a very hot day by large fans. Breakfast menu is available till noon. The eggs and salads were delicious and...creative: a cut above the usual Israeli dairy restaurant fare. Good service and a fair price will encourage us to visit again.More
