Accidentally surprised!!! I declined to have brunch at Disneys Grand Floridian due to the hectic, well to our blessing Dixie Cream Cafe show in our yellow bring road!!! I have the worse food allergies so eating out can be challenging. This cafe is a hideout of explosion of flavors, yummy comfort foods, ambience, service, attentiveness, What a gem!! Please do... Stopped in for Breakfast and tried their brisket hash. This was very good. The biscuits are very light and large.

This is a great truly "local" place to go for breakfast or lunch with your spouse or to catch up with a friend. (Don't be surprised if you run into someone you haven't seen in a while - it's a double treat!) The food is homemade & portions are generous. If you like clean, healthy & homemade food, this is... First time at Dixie Cream. Will definitely be back. We were a party of 6,4 had breakfast and 2 had lunch. It was hard to choose from the extensive menu. Everything looked so good and the corned beef hash was excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was so large that half of it was taken home and the four cheese grilled... More

The food is okay. When we went, the service was slow and the waitress left all of the dishes on the table so it was very cluttered. She never cleared. The desserts in the glass case looked good but I didn't try any.

Visit fairly often and never let down by Stephanie and her great team. Varied menu with so many delicious things it's always hard to choose what to have...

Terrific neighborhood cafe in 'downtown' Windermere... friendly, friendly staff. Acknowledged me by name several times during my stay (even though it was my first visit). Service was fast, coffee good and the brisket hash and eggs was terrific. Delicious different approach to hash. Tasty! Very much recommend!!

If you have never stopped in, you need to make time for Dixie Cream Cafe! As we have shared breakfast there MANY times, as it was early afternoon we decided to opt for the lunch selections. You cant beat the breakfast yet we were pleasantly surprised with our lunch order. Busy atmosphere ... tells you something about this eatery!

This cute little cafe serves really good breakfast fare. The brûlée Oatmeal was thick sweet chewy and delicious. Ricotta pancake was wonderful as well. Omelettes and brisket hash we're great. And they have the best biscuits I have ever tasted.
