Stopped in at Southern Charm for lunch during leaf-watching trip this weekend. Very friendly staff, exceptional waitress, and great southern charm atmosphere. However, the food was generally just ok. I had vegetable plate with greens, pintos, hashbrown casserole, and spiced apples. The hashbrown casserole and greens were exceptional - the apples and pintos not so much. My husband had the... On Sunday there is a pre set menu. You pick a main dish and then 4 different sides are served family style. The prices were a good value, however the food was only average.

The food was so good. Authentic southern meal, just like Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. Staff was very nice.

In town for a short visit and decided to have dinner. My hubby wasn't feeling well from lunch but the chicken and dumplings which was the special of the day hit the spot for him. I had the chicken tenders which were good. I also had the corn and red skinned potatoes which were very good. Good service too.

We were quite impressed as soon as we sat down. Quite a good menu. The pork chops smothered in onions were over the top. My sweet potato was cooked to perfection. My other side dish was tomatoes and onions. All proved to be a good choice. My wife had pecan crusted tilapia with sweet potato and broccoli. Again a perfect... More

Nice restaurant in a beautiful charming home. Food was delicious and home cooked. The service was very good and the wait was fast. Enjoyed the 3 meals we ate there.

Our server Megan was awesome! So nice and her recommendations were spot on! We had the crab legs and prime rib with mozzarella balls. So good ! But, whatever you get ask for Megan! 😊

We enjoy going to Southern Charm for their southern cooking. Always very good. Beautiful building. They are right across from the Blue Ridge Scenic Train.

The feel and food here is the best. If you go get the onion rings appetizer they are a must, they are flaky battered goodness.

I got the blacken tilapia, hashbrown casserole and a side salad. It was pretty average, nothing to write home about. The tilapia, while blackened managed to be a little flavor-less and the hashbrown casserole just had an odd after taste (although my husband seemed to like it). It reminded me of a Georgia-style Cracker Barrel. I did love that we... More
