We stopped here for a quick treat as we didn't have time to stay (passing through from Florida to Canada). Three waitresses/workers greeted us and made us feel so welcome. (It was a slow time for them - 2 pm). We took our treats - an oatmeal cookie "sandwich" with frosting between, and a huge brownie with nuts. We are... More

OH my.....I close my eyes with the first bite and am taken back to being 6 yrs old and sitting at my Grandmother's table. I love how everything is "homemade"! I almost wanted this to be the best kept secret in Middle GA but just could not keep others from sharing in the best food! You have to save room... More

The Middle Georgia area has many great "meat and three's", but Miss Hattie's is among the best. The setting, ambiance and staff help make it even better. When in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for both a great meal and a great experience!

When visiting my mom in Forsyth, we are always searching for a place for lunch! Miss Hattie's was delicious and we will return. My husband had the BBQ pork chop, macaroni and cheese, and butter beans. I had vegetables - green beans, squash casserole, macaroni and cheese, and butter beans. All wonderful. The small biscuits were very good. Not an... More

We just had our first meal at Miss Hattie's. Everything was wonderful, and the fried green tomatoes were an A+! We will definitely make a point to stop and eat on our next trip to Savannah, GA! The Wingos Jackson, TN

This was one of the best home cooked meals I've ever had. The meal was completely worth sitting through Atlanta traffic and a 13 hour trip from Indiana. Although I was disappointed that they ran out of the country ribs I ordered, the grilled chicken tenders were perfect. Thank you for accommodating our family.

I deviated from my usual home cooked meal and ordered the ham and Swiss potato chowder last night, since it was cold out. Best decision I have made in a while! It was soooo good! Perfect for a cool weather meal. And the "biffins" with blueberry butter topped off my night.

Passing through and followed the recommendation from our "Along the I-75" book. A charming venue with great down home southern cooking. Friendly and efficient staff despite being quite busy. Loved the menus/ do it yourself order forms. A real gem.

My son & daughter-in-law have just moved to this area. We were visiting them in their new home and we all had a late lunch at Miss Hattie's. The restaurant wasn't busy at all - the service was pretty slow at first. We were a little concerned and hoped that the food would make up for that. And it did!... More
