Been here twice. No reason to complain. Always greeted quickly and courteously. Server always quick with drinks and food order. Weve had the chimchanga and fajitas. Both have been good. Plenty of beers on tap too. Venue is large. Clean and tidy. We went on a saturday and it was quiet. Which was surprising. Standard mexican. No frills but worth... More

I went to El Azteca tonight to satisfy a craving for a margarita. When I arrived it took a while to get anyone to the table. When I finally ordered, the margarita and food came quickly but I did not get any silverware or napkin. The first Margarita was bland so I ordered a Texas margarita the second time. It... More

I've dined at both this El Azteca and the nearby location in Sandy Springs - both are some of the best, authentic, "real" Mexican restaurants. The service is always fast and courteous, there is a very full menu, and the pitcher of Texas margaritas is always a worth it. This location feels like a restaurant in Mexico, with a village... Stopped by for a $10 lunch special on Friday, the food came out warm, but not "hot plate" warm. We both had the chicken soup and super burrito. Tho only warm, the soup was good but the 'super' burrito was small under all Then out came the broom - why must restaurants sweep around the table while I'm eating? I... More

Mexico would locate Azeteca in the poor part of town. All the standard ingredients were on the plate, but Overcooked and gloped together. Nothing in this restaurant sets it apart from the cheapest places I've been.

The food is uninspired but good. Another popular local haunt that can get crowded with kids. Margaritas are plentiful and the beer comes in big mugs.

My first visit to this Dunwoody store, El Azteca has been a metro Atlanta favorite of mine for years. Great value, VERY fast service, and tasty, unadorned Tex-Mex staples. If you're looking for "exceptional" go elsewhere and pay a lot more. I'll take this place for a needed fix any day.

Great food and quick service, whether sitting in or take out. The best Daquiris in town!!! Family friendly. I loved it.

This is a decent lunch stop in the heart of Dunwoody. Certainly preferable to Moe's and heads and shoulders above Los Rancheros. Had a decent lunch with a friend. Not great, not bad. I'd come back since it is convenient.
