This place has some of the best swarma I've ever had and I have eaten all over the world. Great management excellent service and amazing food. I come here over and over. Should try this place out if you like good Mediterranean food!

Cafe Sababa is so popular that they don't need to open on the weekends! The popularity is well deserved, with a varied and delicious Middle Eastern menu. There are good vegetarian choices, like falafel, hummus, and babaganoosh, on the menu so many vegetarians dine here, too. I am not a vegetarian, but think Sababa has the best falafel in Atlanta!... Food quality was fair at best and pretty expensive. The person taking the orders and preparing the plates (owner/chef?) was rude and impatient with us and the people ahead of us (there were only 2! parties in the place at the time).

Met some old coworkers here for dinner. Did nt know what to expect other than what I had read- I was not disappointed. This place is not fancy, it is small and in a strip mall....the servers are great and the food is "to die for"!!! Don't forget to get the hummus it's the best around. My favorite was the... More

I eat hear pretty often. I think the prices are reasonable & the food is consistently delicious. I love the schwarma platter & chicken schnitzel. They make the best hummus. They don't have whole wheat pita so I bring my own. It is a small restaurant so it is hard to come with a large crowd. I love their lentil... More

I'm in the Dunwoody area on business with some frequency, and initially stuck to the various options near the Perimeter since they wear near the hotels. Found Cafe Sababa on trip advisor and the reality lived up to the great reviews. Small, local, friendly personal service. Food was fresh and fantastic. Went for the lamb meatball special one night and... More

You can't miss with Cafe Sababa. I eat here at least twice a month and the food is always first rate! My friend and I each enjoyed a chicken schwarma platter. It comes with the meat, a chopped Israeli salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, hummus, babaganoush, and pita bread. The service is always good, too!

Description
In both Hebrew and Arabic, the word "sababa" is slang for "awesome," "fun," or "cool." But it originates from Arabic poetry and literally means "ardent love," or "fervent longing." At Cafe Sababa, we strive to offer you an awesome, fun and cool culinary experience with our fresh, authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes including grilled chicken, fish, beef and lamb, and we hope you will develop an ardent love for our food and a fervent longing to visit us again and again.

Chef/Owner Doni Tamli has over 25 years of restaurant and catering experience. A native of the seaside city of Acco, Israel, Chef Tamli brings his knowledge of the spices and cooking styles of the Mediterranean and Middle East and offers his unique versions of traditional favorites.

Chef Tamli owns Cafe Sababa with his wife, Ann, a third-generation native Atlantan. Their two sons, Ariel and Gil, work in the restaurant as well.

We offer dine-in, take-out and catering services.

Cafe Sababa's lamb burger was noted as a "Dish Worth The Drive" on Atlanta Eats TV in November 2013. The restaurant was voted as one of Atlanta's top Middle Eastern/Eastern Mediterranean Restaurants in a poll by the Atlanta Journal/Constitution in 2012, and was honored by the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce as the runner up for the 2011 Best of Dunwoody "Good Eats" Business Award.
