Comfort food at its best. As our waitress said, "Nothing is healthy, and everything is delicious. " The vegetables are the BEST.

Wow! The food is amazing.... country cooking with class. The building is also very nice.... historic..it's well worth the parking issues as they serve quite a crowd each day. It's a local favorite.

Everyone recommended my friend and I eat here during our day trip to LaGrange. They warned that the place would be packed. I guess everyone else was Christmas shopping because we parked in front and were seated immediately. Super friendly service from everyone. I had the grilled cheese and pimento sandwich, tomato soup, and pineapple casserole. All were extremely yummy.... More

When I do, I don't eat in Lanett. I wait and go to "A Taste of Lemon" Restaurant. Its on the way home for us. Its like15-19 miles away to Lagrange--and in the center of the Business district--where all the best restaurants are. Still---I come here. They are so packed, I park in the parking deck across the street most... More

We stopped on a very busy day so there was a short wait. It is in an old church so when its crowded it can be a little hard to hear. The food is wonderful. All homemade, comfort kind of food. My Mom and I split a piece of the Buttermilk Pie and it was luscious.

This old church turned restaurant is a great historical spot that still has homemade vegetables and meat meals - not to mention homemade salad plates.

If you're looking for good southern cooking, this is the place. This was my first visit and I can't wait to go back. The only disappointment was that they were out of Mac and cheese. The roast was melt in your mouth with a traditional gravy like my grandmother made. The service was fast and friendly. Their menu isn't fancy... More

This is a small converted Church. The menu is simple with a list of vegetables and meats, a few traditional dishes. The food was great. The town really doesn't much of a lunch type offering so we were trying to find something better than the local Chickfila. The staff was classic southern ladies and very friendly. All the dishes we... More
