I am a Mexican restaurant connoisseur, even having eaten in Mexico, & this is literally the BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at! Don't let its location fool u. I don't give 5 stars lightly. I had a Texas margarita, Pollo Loco & the Gambino's House Special. All were awesome!!

Went on a Friday evening after work with several friends. The good was great, fresh and hot.....the drinks were exactly what we expected...fried ice cream was to die for and the service was excellent. Was a festive atmosphere with lots of people, but did not feel rushed to leave. Even though the location might turn some people off.....please give it... More

Traveling home from walt disney world, we stopped in Locust Grove. Gabino's had good reviews on Trip Advisor and was close to the hotel. Wasn't real sure when I drove up, and it was attached to a less than stellar hotel. That all changed when I got inside. At the family owned business, the servers were very friendly and helpful.... My girlfriend & I (although, this is solely my opinion) stopped in for a quick bite to take a break from the road. It wasn't busy, which doesn't necessarily mean a good or a bad thing, but in this case I would've preferred it to be busy. I feel like it might've made the food a little fresher maybe. I... More

Everything is always good and consistent! There's a young man who serves the tables very well! Every time you ask for anything he says "I'll make it happen" and returns quickly! We go every time we pass through!

Being from Texas, I didn't really expect a great Mexican restaurant in GA. This place is attached to a motel by one wall, almost behind the McDs. The beer was cold, drinks stong, and the food authentic for American Tex Mex. Give it a chance.

Visited this restaurant on the way to Atlanta. Good food, authentic, good service and reasonably priced. Mexican music too - I'm used to Miami where the music in Mexican restaurants tends to be not very Mexican. Portions are huge - so I'd suggest meal sharing unless you haven't eaten for a day or two.

Lunch was great! Warm chips and yummy salsa. I had the grilled chicken burrito and it was really good. We will definitely stop again.

Thank Connie M
