The chef from this family-run restaurant must be sent from heaven because the food here is always DIVINE! Okay, that's corny, but I LOVE this Italian restaurant. The decor is inviting and elegant enough for a romantic date night, but the staff is welcoming to large families also. Try the Moscato first and then dip those garlic-laden homemade rolls into... Pasta Max is a name that means something to anyone who's lived in Henry county as long as I have - my family moved to this area in 1984. It is a great local place. The food is awesome, the service is friendly and helpful. AND it's not a chain restaurant that is just like every other chain restaurant.

Food is wonderful, homemade pastas, low light, and quaint atmosphere. We loved it here. While the seating is tight the wait is worth it. We have always had top notch wait staff. Portions of food are huge and easily split between two individuals.

I've been going to Past Max since they were located at the old Best Western in Stockbridge. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and never had a bad experience. Seriously, just put a blindfold on and stab your finger to the menu and it'll be delicious. Doug knows what he's doing in the kitchen! ANd they don't skimp... More

Love this restaurant for the food and fabulous ambiance. It is intimate and charming with superb service that makes your plan your next visit before you even leave. The lasagna dishes are some of my favorites. Small towns can have Big Tastes!!

Even though the restaurant was quite crowded we were seated prompted. We both ordered the special which was delicious. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was crowded so we understood.

Delicious start with garlic, buttery rolls. The chef and staff know their services perfectly. The black pepper, chicken paperdelle is perfectly cooked. The pizza was excellent. The angel hair spaghetti, wow. We were all pleased, even youngsters. House wine, good choice.
