They are always smiling and all will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. Greg, the owner, walks to all the tables to say HI and see if you need... More

Love this place especially during the summer months. Best fried green tomatoes around! I love the breakfast too. Biscuits & gravy. Always pretty crowded. Seating is limited.

Cute little place right on the square. With that said, parking will be limited right at this establishment. There is a parking deck just off on the side road. Well worth the short walk. Set in old store front, nothing fancy but then again I didn't come for the decor. Food is country cooking done right. Must be doing something... More

Great family run diner right on the square. Daily specials are on a chalk board. Today was pot roast with 2 sides and bread. We opted for the grilled cheese with homemade soup. We also had fried pickles with buttermilk dip and homemade apple crisp for dessert. Lovely, friendly waitress and great prices. Take a step back in time and... More

This restaurant has the best chicken fried chicken breast. I get it every time with vegetables, which are nothing short of amazing, no matter what day of the week, all the vegetables are delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant when you come into McDonough square. It will leave you full and satisfied

Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was delivered quickly and was hot and delicious. The old fashioned decor made this place quite charming.

We were on the Square today because Santa Claus is coming to town we decided to eat breakfast grits and you can tell from my prior review last time we were here and it was very unsuccessful. We decided to give it another try because it couldn't be that bad again. Well we were wrong it was that bad and... More

Breakfast is so so. They use a very low quality breakfast sausage. Service was quick so food was warm as it should be. Parking is a nightmare because of being on city square. Parking meters also.
