This restaurant has the best chicken fried chicken breast. I get it every time with vegetables, which are nothing short of amazing, no matter what day of the week, all the vegetables are delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant when you come into McDonough square. It will leave you full and satisfied

Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was delivered quickly and was hot and delicious. The old fashioned decor made this place quite charming.

Breakfast is so so. They use a very low quality breakfast sausage. Service was quick so food was warm as it should be. Parking is a nightmare because of being on city square. Parking meters also.

What started out many years ago as the place to eat breakfast and lunch, has slowly turned into a cost cutting, bland tasting candidate for a makeover show. I raise and butcher my own farm animals and would still go to Gritz because of the homemade food; not anymore. It's sad to say but the quality of the food had... More

Had Eggs, Grits, Smoked Sausage along with Biscuits and gravy. Very down home feel. Don't miss it when going through McDonough, GA.

I came in for lunch and didn't care for it. We had the pancakes, porkchops, biscuit, and grits. The sweet tea was the best thing of the meal...until we got the banana pudding! Now I stop by every so often just to get a cup or two of it! The food isn't worth the wait, unless I don't want to... More

You must try the county ham biscuit. Absolutely the best thing!! Located in the heart of the McDonough square. Such a neat place to bring family and friends!
