We just enjoyed a gorgeous meal at The Dun Cow-what a great pub overlooking the marshes at Salthouse. I had the fish pie and my partner chose the venison-both dishes were wonderful. We shared a treacle tart to finish which was also delicious. Friendly staff, a tastefully decorated pub with great food and drink.

Called in for lunch over Easter and although very busy got seated quickly and the service was first class. The food came out very quickly and was very well presented and tasted great. The service was attentive and nothing was to much trouble even though all tables being constantly full. I highly recommend you call in if in the area

Food was excellent, service quick and friendly and a varied and good value wine list. I wish I had a pub like this near where I live. Crayfish sarnie was excellent. Kids really liked fish and chips and frankfurters and chips. Sit in the huge garden if you can. We had a clear day with great sea views.

We were really looking forward to our Sunday Lunch at the Dun Cow. Since moving to North Norfolk three years ago we had passed many times but never ventured inside. It is a really lovely pub with a wonderful open bar/restaurant although we saw there was another small room to the side which had tables too. We had a window... More

i'm sorry you don't like the way we chose to run our business. we make no apologies for taking all orders at the bar, we are after all, running a simple pub, not a restaurant. good service is as much about charm and attitude as anything. the vast majority of our 700 reviewers seem to agree. sorry you don't More

We stumbled across The Dun Cow on a drive on our Norfolk holiday, and seeing just how busy the car park was certainly gave a good 1st impression. They managed to squeeze us in and we had one of our most enjoyable family meals of our holiday. The service was fantastic, very friendly and having our two young daughters with... More

Ate at the Dun Cow twice during our week in Norfolk and on both occasions had great food and excellent service from the friendly staff. The food is better value than other pubs in the area. Will certainly return.

We discovered this lovely pub around 12 months ago whilst staying in Salthouse. This year although staying in Burnham Market, we purposely travelled to The Dunn Cow for lunch twice and both times we had great food. The staff here are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Absolutely recommend and advise to book during busy times it's a popular place. Definitely a... More

We had a really lovely time here; buzzy and friendly place, wood burners adding cosines and atmosphere, board games available. A simple but delicious meal, traditional and contemporary options, good drinks selection, efficient service. Not cheap, but the overall experience made it good value.

We called in on spec, we received a very friendly welcome which is always a good sign. The food was excellent, fish pie, fish and chips and a rib eye, all were A1 at Lloyd's! All the staff were very friendly, a perfect lunch! You couldn't ask for more!
