This is my second review of this pizza place. While traveling through Winder as you can see from my earlier review we decided to stop again at this neighborhood pizzeria. We used to eat at a local place in Brooklyn called spumoni Gardens while growing up. They at spumoni Gardens are noted for of course the spumoni but also the... More

I'm from New York and this is real pizza. Most people in the south think that Papa Johns or Pizza Hut is pizza, it's not folks. If you want really good authentic pizza, then this is the place.

I used to LOVE this place a few years ago and we still eat here regularly but I do agree with some other reviewers that something has changed with the pizza and service(maybe it's my taste buds) .They didn't used to charge you for dipping sauce but now they do (that pisses me off for some reason when restaurants do... The family and I were traveling through Winder and saw this little pizza place on trip advisor and decided to give it a chance. We are a bit of pizza snobs my wife being from Brooklyn and I from Long Island. Parking can be a little challenging especially on a Friday night. Upon entering we went straight to the back... More

When Joe 1st opened Little Italy in Winder it was great! It had that good thin crust Naples styled pizza with the right balance of cheese and sauce. It stayed that way for years, but sadly the last year has seen a real decline in quality. The last pizza I ordered to go was undercooked and had so much sauce... More

Good pizza! Better than I have had in Rome, Italy. Friendly folks. Good place to meet friends. Salad bar is a ONE trip only.

You can tell the people who work here work hard, but this place has gone downhill for multiple reasons. The food is not the same as it was a few years ago. The place really does need a makeover. And worst of all the internet prices don't match the real prices, which they use to their advantage. With the ubiquity... More

Went here on a Sunday evening to try their Stromboli since I knew they make a great pizza. The stromboli was different than any other I had ever had. It was tasty, but just didn't look the same as other closed shell stromboli I had eaten up and down the east coast.

If you like the franchise pizza shops, keep driving. This pizza is the best you can buy. My favorite is the ham and pineapple. The pizzas always taste like it was made with fresh ingredients and I have never been dissatisfied.
