I had tried several of the Sockeye beers while in Boise and decided to try the restaurant. The service was good, but not much atmosphere. The food was typical bar food-- lots of fried, salmon was dry, salad was ok. I will definitely keep drinking...More

This place had decent beer, but nothing blew me away. The food was pretty good, though. I had the salmon club which was tasty. We tried the beer sampler, and most of the beers were very drinkable. The outdoor seating was very nice, though.

We were looking for a quick lunch and had a delicious meal. The halibut and chips were first rate, and the Reuben was large and really good. Pleasant outdoor patio, quick service and wish we had time to try their beer - next time.

Sockeye is one of my favorite breweries ever. The Dagger Falls IPA is amazing. I've come here a few times and I usually get their black and bleu burger - sooo delicious. But I've had the chicken strips and finger steaks on the menu and...More

My husband, teenage son and I went to Sockeye to watch the games, hang out and chat...we found a warm, friendly environment with excellent microbrews. Our waitress was so well educated about the microbrewery and more than willing to chat about the different brews and...More

We have been here a couple of times. The place is cute, but really loud. Food is OK. Beer is OK. I really wanted to love it.

Great place. Great food. Loved the seats by the fire while you are waiting. Tv screens a hit with the guys. Drinks were good.

In spite of its homey, yet roomy atmosphere, and good brews the new Sockeye on Fairview was a disappointing experience. My bratwurst sandwich was only so-so. The grayish meat was not appetizing. But the slaw was worse. I couldn't even taste the advertised blue cheese....More

Just left the new Sockeye on Fairview and I was extremely disappointed. Sat in the bar, bartender was trying to cover table and the bar. Gave us samples and advice, ordered some beers. Bartender came back and got our dinner order. The food was brought...More

Really nice atmosphere, loved the 2 fire pits by the front door. Ordered their finger steaks from a friend's recommendation and they were excellent! Fresh, tender beef and light batter, truly the best finger steaks in the Treasure Valley. Galena Gold beer was just right...More

Description
Sockeye Brewing's 19-year history is an inspired one. We are both inspired to uphold the quality of the original brews, and inspired to innovate and push new boundaries with our newer brews and small-batch concoctions. What started as a river guide's small-batch brewing effort evolved into a larger capacity, hand-crafted brewery with two full service Pub and Grills. Sockeye Brewing also has a canning operation and distributes fine handcrafted beers throughout the states of Idaho, Utah and Eastern Washington. At the new West Boise location, on Fairview near Cloverdale Rd, a pub and grill is now open, where Sockeye fans can enjoy a fresh brew on tap. Creative food and 16 styles of craft beers including barrel aged, nitro and cask conditioned styles, are served in a Northwest-style lodge environment. Tastings and tours are available upon request. This location houses a 20bble brewing system, and is home to our canning and packaging operation. Our original west Boise location, at Cole near Ustick, continues to offer Sockeye brews, delicious pub fair, and live music-all in the friendly atmosphere locals have come to enjoy for years. This is also where we continue to brew our small-batch brews with our seven-barrel system. Both locations are Boise originals, serving some of the finest award winning beers in the Northwest region in a casual, family friendly environment.
