This corner spot right around the corner from the state capitol offers good coffee and a great view of one of Boise's busier pedestrian intersection. (It even has a kitty-corner crossing to accommodate the crowds!) Efficient counter, and a handy honor-system if you grab a cup to go. Nice shop with plenty of seating and tabletop space!

I've been here a few times now. The coffee drinks are always ok but nothing especially good. The food - I wouldn't bother with. Very old, hard cinnamon roll and the friend I went with got a breakfast burrito that was pretty inedible. The atmosphere is nice and clean, and their conference room (first come first serve) is super convenient... More

Right next to the Capitol, a good spot to meet, and the coffee and tea are fine, just nothing out of the ordinary.

Great cup of coffee, friendly staff. Wish they had more food options for a quick breakfast. Good meeting place, especially in the summer when you can sit out side.

As a mobile worker, I have a few favorite spots around town from which to work for an hour or so, or to host a quick meeting with colleagues. Thomas Hammer delivers with a nice, open space and a conference room. My favorite drink's the Diablo. It's a nice spicy bite to an otherwise chocolaty mocha. And the staff's friendly... More

Friendly and nice looking coffee shop in downtown Boise. Very friendly and helpful baristas. Enjoyed the coffee - will come again on my next business trip. Even bought a bag of beans to throw in the drip machine at home. I went with the signature blend.

My first experience at the Capital City Public Market, commonly known as the Saturday Market or City Market, a 21-year tradition that I happened on during a trip to Boise, Idaho to check out filming locations, started with a medium-sized black coffee at Thomas Hammer Coffee. As a coffee junkie, I like to think that I have an enhanced palate... More

This was one of the first on my list of coffee places to get to, during our road trip to Boise. Unfortunately, it was the third one we actually did get to and we kicked ourselves for waiting. (On road trips, we tend to hunt down all the co-op/natural food places and best coffee spots.) The first two we went... More

Friendly baristas who make a great latte. They told me what they liked about Boise, - not to big and not too small of a city with lots of outdoor wilderness activities readily available. I would go back. Coffee was very good
