Lovely dog friendly room, delicious food, very helpful staff. Working away couldn’t have been more enjoyable!

The vegan/veggie burgers were so delicious! Best pub version ever! BUT the fish and chips were so disappointing. There was far too much batter and hardly any fish. Was greasy and not good. Very grateful that The Merrie Lion does takeaway food during lockdown, but...More

Nice quaint pub. Had the Sunday roast, sirloin of beef, which was really tasty. Only criticism, is that the food is slightly overpriced.
