Another fantastic visit and dining experience!! Once again we were on business in Peterlee and we visited this wonderful restaurant. The staff, the atmosphere, the food ... everything was perfect. Thank you so much. I wish we had a place like this where we live.

Amazing food and excellent location. Upon arrival our group of 20+ were greeted by both Chris and Stacey at the bar - ready for the challenge they stepped up and graciously took our multi-layer extensive drink order. We ordered a variety of wine, beers and...cocktails to start with, no stone left unturned in the expedittion of beverage discovery. We pre-ordered our food just to to the size of our group and we weren't disappointed. Matt helped with the table service and like an open dam, at the flow of food followed smoothly. From starter to main course to dessert - we enjoyed steaks (each cooked to individual perfection) to sea bass (that reminded us of holidaying in the med). My personal favourite the hand cooked chips and rump steak. Continuing we ordered desserts spontaneously and weren't disappointed. From Almond / Orange cake, to sublime chocolate brownie and a variety of cheese cakes - heaven really is a place on earth. We ended the group meal with Limoncello while enjoying the sun outside. We would definitely go back again and look forward to Chris, Stacey and Matt welcoming us back like old friends.More

Visit this restaurant quite often and the food is always top class especially the pizza. All of the staff are very friendly too.

Not a great choice of menu. A ‘Parmo ’ would not have been my first (or second!) choice of food when eating out but the mixed grill options were very poor. My Parmo was not a Parmo! More of a schnitzel type meal, it was...quite nice but no bechumel sauce and so not a Parmo! Waitress forgot my chips and put out on a different table to the one we specifically booked and requested. Poor choice of drinks also and drinks very expensive.More

Expected a good choice as reputation preceded my first visit. Ordered a beef wrap and was expecting good roast beef with possibly onions accompanied with a salad. I was given a wrap with a gravy sludge - nothing else! !! The wrap was flat as...a pancake. Salad (green leaves) which would have difficulty in filling a tablespoon had so much dressing it looked at me and said "I give up" The chips I left half (I had to give up) as they were cold, soggy and luckily only 8 in number. I ate the flat wrap so as not to embarrass my hosts A real disappointmentMore

Possibly one of the best Sunday lunches we've had, and cant complain about the price...However.. 45 min wait for table that was already booked, ridiculous wait at the bar for drinks. Desperate for a bar manager to take control. Slow to take food order, one...waitress in particular wasnt very attentive at all. Such as a shame because the food was beautiful.More

A group of us went for bottomless brunch and we all had an amazing time! The service was great and super attentive! We didn't spend any time waiting for our next drinks they were straight over taking our orders before we'd even finished what we...had and they were very flexible with serving the food, asking us when we were ready for it and waiting until we were ready. One of the servers was working her very first shift and she was great! The cocktails and pizzas were delicious! I would highly recommend this experience!More

After eating in Luciano`s Sunderland for at least 25 years, having excellent food, service and friendship with the management and staff before closure. We finally decided to try our hometown restaurant, and wished we hadn`t. Couldn`t fault the food, but service was abysmal. Main course...and drinks came quick enough, but sat waiting over 20 mins after we`d finished, for someone to clear the table, ask us if we wanted the dessert menu, more drinks, or even give us a comeback on the food, but nothing. The so called manager minced past us five times and just ignored us. Having had enough we went to the bar and asked for the bill. Funnily enough, he was quick enough to clear the table while we were paying. First and sadly last time we will visit.More

Great family meal last night, lovely restaurant, fantastic food, great service, the staff were fantastic and very efficient. Definitely recommend a night out at lucianos .

Thomas treated us like family, we got the best recommendations on dinner, dessert and drinks! We LOVED his presentation of whiskeys, so wonderful and wished I had room for more. Great staff, wonderful food and the decor is divine.
