The restaurant has a fixed degustation menu. It is creative. I'll say I found four of so of the dishes really outstanding. The rest were pretty good. A couple were lacking. The ambience was for younger people than me --I am in my early 50's--...More

There really are few restaurants as wonderful as Schwa when it all works out. Schwa and its chef, Michael Carlson, have a tempestuous history. The reservation system (if it can be called a system) has, in the past, required multiple calls to get a person...More

My tastiest and most unique dining experience! Upon entering Schwa, I thought I'd wondered into a derelict crack house. The bottom of the walls appear to be painted with cans of black spray paint above which fades into an amateurish ombre. A couple bare bulbs...More

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant but even before the meal was over, I was questioning how this place got its Michelin star. It started fine and the truffle ravioli was good but that being said, some things meshed well, others not so...More

We had an incredible night at Schwa == the food was unbeatable. Complex, yet fun. The flavors were unbeatable. Every single chef brought a dish to our table. They explained every dish, which exceeded all of our expectations. The room is minimalist, which keeps the...More

This was one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had. The staff is very classy because they understand the needs of a true food experience. I would describe this place as more of a sensory experience that must be experienced.

When they say don't judge a book by it's cover, this restaurant should be included. Amazing food, one of my all time favorite meals and experiences. Our waiters were all great, Brandon especially spent much time explaining the details of every course. Kudos to them...More

Food is fabulous as always but the fellow patrons freely smoked too much herb made it hard to enjoy the beautiful food :(. Not sure if I'll be back.

Whatever you want. The serving staff, which I recall was all male, had lots of facial hair and tattoos. They were very friendly and casual, so the place is not stuffy. It only has about 30 seats
