Ate here with my husband while staying at Palomar and loved it. One of our favorite dinners of our Chicago trip. He had chicken and waffles, I had sliders topped with quail eggs, we split truffle fries (the dipping sauces that came with them were SO good), for dessert we had a lavender chocolate tart. The atmosphere is perfect for... More

Absolutely the best drinks we had this trip!! Service was great, too! We ended up visiting here a few times on this trip. Great selection behind the bar.

This was a great stop after enjoying a beautiful winter day in Chicago. The small plates are the best way to try more dishes and can be shared with others. Great presentation and every plate we sampled was yummylicious. The sliders, steak tartare, chicken and waffles and flatbread were some of our favorites.

Perhaps the most unique part of our dinner was that our server was a bit like a tour guide, making fine suggestions but also willing to discuss some of our group's choice before finalizing each round. The four of us shared each item, so that we had lots of variety in flavors and textures throughout our dinner. This also provided... More

We had only one meal here (breakfast). Food was very good, staff were excellent - attentive and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast for three was over $70 -- kind of expensive but hey it's Chicago!

We stopped here after finding out that The Drawing Room had closed and we wanted to find somewhere that offered fun hand crafted drinks. They have an extensive drink menu and lots of options. My favorite drink was the Typical Cat which was like a creamy lemon drop martini with a hint of vanilla. The guys were very happy with... More

We've been here several times and always enjoy it - took a bit to get drinks, but well worth the wait - great for drinks and the sliders were a perfect snack before dinner!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. I am glad that you enjoyed the cocktail. Sometimes they can take a little time, depending on the level of business in the bar, but we try our best to eliminate it. Thank you for understanding. We ate here two of the mornings we were recently in Chicago and the food was really good. We had the crab cake benedict, chicken and waffle, chorizo burrito, and Monte Cristo french toast with a side of bacon. The crab cake benedict is delicious and comes with a side of cubed hash-browns. The chicken and waffle was the best... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It looks like there were a couple shortcomings with your breakfast. I can assure you that the issue with the bacon has been resolved, as well as the chorizo burrito. I am very sorry that you had to experience those, but I thank you for the feed back in assisting... I had dined at Sable Kitchen & Bar, the last time we were at the Palomar in Chicago, and returned for Breakfast on this short October trip. Sable is tucked away off of the Palomar lobby, and is linear, running along the north side of the building. It’s really three different areas, from a large group dining room, to a... More

We ate at Sable while spending a few days in Chicago. Sable has craft cocktails and small plates. Everything was delicious and our waiter suggested cocktails that matched our taste. The devilled eggs were delicious as well as the squash flat bread, truffle fries and mac and cheese . For some reason we waited a very long time to get... More

I am glad that you had a great experience with us at Sable. I am sorry that there was a hiccup with the timing of your food. It may just have been an issue where it was coursed out and not sent out as it was done. My apologies either way. I hope to see you in again soon. Feel... More
