We've been here several times and always enjoy it - took a bit to get drinks, but well worth the wait - great for drinks and the sliders were a perfect snack before dinner!

We ate here two of the mornings we were recently in Chicago and the food was really good. We had the crab cake benedict, chicken and waffle, chorizo burrito, and Monte Cristo french toast with a side of bacon. The crab cake benedict is delicious and comes with a side of cubed hash-browns. The chicken and waffle was the best... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It looks like there were a couple shortcomings with your breakfast. I can assure you that the issue with the bacon has been resolved, as well as the chorizo burrito. I am very sorry that you had to experience those, but I thank you for the feed back in assisting... I had dined at Sable Kitchen & Bar, the last time we were at the Palomar in Chicago, and returned for Breakfast on this short October trip. Sable is tucked away off of the Palomar lobby, and is linear, running along the north side of the building. It’s really three different areas, from a large group dining room, to a... More

We ate at Sable while spending a few days in Chicago. Sable has craft cocktails and small plates. Everything was delicious and our waiter suggested cocktails that matched our taste. The devilled eggs were delicious as well as the squash flat bread, truffle fries and mac and cheese . For some reason we waited a very long time to get... More

I am glad that you had a great experience with us at Sable. I am sorry that there was a hiccup with the timing of your food. It may just have been an issue where it was coursed out and not sent out as it was done. My apologies either way. I hope to see you in again soon. Feel... More

Fun atmosphere for cocktails and small plates. We went twice. Lots of classic cocktails and choices. Good service. Enjoyed French 75, Aviation and manhattans. Among small plates, liked braised pork cheeks, scallops, and calamari. Good date night choice. Bartenders were very nice, too. Atmosphere feels kind of film noir -- nice and dark, plush seats, stylish bar.

Next time you stop in, be sure to go for some of our riffs on those classic drinks. The bartenders thoroughly enjoy coming up with new ones. I had a late supper, around 8pm, starting with two unusual martinis (served on the rocks at my request). I had a salad and the braised pork cheeks, which were done and presented very well. Sable has a separate gluten-free menu (ingredients only, the kitchen is not segregated for gluten). The service was friendly, but a little slow--my entrée order... More

Over the past few years I have been to the Sable Kitchen & Bar several times. The bar part of the Sable has become my favorite cocktail bar in Chicago and... More

We ate here several years ago when in Chicago and had a great meal so we decided to eat here again on our recent trip.
