We came to this restaurant since we were staying within the JW Marriott and do not regret it. The treatment that you receive as you come through the door is quite amazing and servers are more than accommodating to meet your needs. Our server assisted me in making sure than we finished our meals no later than a certain time... More

Tucked inside on the second floor the JW Marriott hotel is this fine Italian restaurant. We opted for this restaurant for the convenience since we were staying in the hotel, and our expectations were greatly exceeded. All of us enjoyed our meals ( I had the pork chop, others had the truffle pasta, and the risotto with short rib.), the... More

First I want to say that I ask an Italian place to a friend in Chicago, he recommended the Florentine: a real gem. Service: one of my best experience for a long time, friendly, fast and excellent recommendations. For wine ask for Alexandria (Somm), she is the best! Wine: they have a Coravin wine by the glass list (I would... More

Gnocchi was amazing. Most unique preparation I have had. Calamari was butterflied huge pieces that were grilled with an olive, pepper, and cannelini sauce underneath.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. We sat in a corner of the bar in a booth, which was quieter on a weeknight than it would be on a weekend, and quieter than the main part of the restaurant. The squash soup was excellent, creamy and complex. The pennone pasta was quite good, with fine mushrooms and truffle oil. The cauliflower side... More

This is a very convenient and delicious lunch spot for a business meeting. There is always so pasta made by scratch to choose from as well as a good selection of salads and other options.

The Florentine is located within the JW Marriott. It is a bit expensive, like many hotel restaurants, but the food is good. It is strongest at breakfast and good for lunch. I thought my dinner was fine, but only that. Service at dinner was friendly, but slow.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with exceptional food and service. We also had brunch there and enjoyed lox and bagels.

Had lunch here last week and the food and service were excellent. I appreciate a place that values your time and the food came quickly. Our starters included the Burrata and roasted butternut squash Zuppa and mains of the short rib and gnocchi. All were delicious and well prepared. Highly recommended.

I was a guest of a colleague for lunch and had a great time. While not typically in the south loop for lunch, this has to be on your radar. Very welcoming staff from the hostess, coat check, waiter And bus boy. We all dined on fantastic ceaser salad's, some plain and others garnished with chicken, that was accompanied by... More
