We had a couple of drinks at the Hubbard Inn - fun place in a great neighborhood - worth a stop - get really crowded - get there early

Without a lot of work our meal could have been special instead of boring. Some spice on the potatoes and a little moisture. Enough hollandaise sauce to cover the poached egg on the pork belly benedict. And more belly on the pork. Butter for the English muffin and salt/pepper on the table so we didn't have to ask. Some sort... More

Visited for Saturday Brunch. Comfortable atmosphere in the River North area. Had a lobster omelette and my wife had the braised pork belly on brioche bread with a sunny side up egg. Both cooked perfectly. Also heard they have awesome Brussel Sprouts and they were!! Flash fried then coated with a balsamic vinegarette with minced shallots. Some of the best... More

We have a Groupon for the brunch. We called in advance after reading the groupon thoroughly. We arrived to an empty restaurant and were told they would not honor the groupon because they were not serving brunch that day even after we called to get a reservation and tell them we had a brunch groupon. I showed them the printed... More

Great place to relax and enjoy a nice brunch. I love a good meal and this restaurant doesn't disappoint. Really cool lounge in the back to finish off the cocktail. Great atmosphere and cool bar.

Visiting Chicago for the weekend and stumbled across this great bar while walking around the neighbourhood for a drink. Entrance area is what attracted me with it's gas fireplace that cut the chill from the late afternoon air. The restaurant is beautiful with brick walls, large glass windows and a long wood bar. There's a cozy library area in the... More

This place is really cool and makes me think of 1920-s/ 1930-s speak easy type atmosphere. Bold pink sofas and beautiful décor really bring a classy and full of character vibe to this rather large bar. If there is a food menu, I did not try it. The drinks are expensive but very crafty. I would say this is a... More

The food at the restaurant was good. Not your typical bar food. We did a lot of shared plates. The down side is that it was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation.

Hubbard Inn is a great place to relax and have great Bar Food. The food is a large step above bar food. Their sandwiches are great and I also really enjoyed the sea scallops.

What a fabulous spot tucked into busy spot on Hubbard. I felt like I stepped back in time (except with really great food) :) I ended up hanging out for about 5 hours in the back Library which was such a treat! The Front Area of the restaurant/bar are bustling, fun, loud and busy. It was fun to sit in... More
