Any true Chicagoan should make it a must stop on his way to the United Center - nothing fancy, good pricing and blue color environment. Go with the cheezborger and don't be afraid to ask double or triple and remember chips no fries.

Took my wife to the blackhawks game and loved the billy goat inn. The staff are fun, authentic, original and totally genuine. This place has an original atmosphere and you can feel the nostalgia when you walk in the door. It was such a pleasure to meet Billy and uncle stan.

They are still living off of the SNL skit 30 years ago. Disappointed in the quality of the burger for the price.

Located east of the United Center on the southeast corner of Madison St. & Ogden Ave. There is parking, though the lot can get crowded. So, if you want a burger, at least get a double cheeseburger, as a single really does get lost in the bun. You order at the counter, add your condiments and find a table.

But for real, their burgers are delicious and a total life saver after a Hawks game. Great place to park for events at the UC. Get your pregame on or hit em up after, when you go back for your car. It's usually shoulder to shoulder busy, but worth getting there a little early or staying a little late. Cheap,... More

Good bar scene - plenty of drink options. I would stick with simple beer and cocktail recipes. Big grill in the center of the bar - I would skip the food here - didn't look or taste. appetizing. Nice place to go before or after an event at United center.

This is a must stop if you are at the United Center before or after a game. The draft beer selection is minimal which is their house Billy Goat beer, two different kinds, and I believe one other on tap as well. The prices for beer was not bad and the cheeseburgers are really cheap as well. I was a... More

You can't beat da Goat for a great burger and beer. Toss on your own delicious pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard and eat at the bar with a dark Billy Goat beer. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner to die for!

Ok the food is blah, I've had the burgers a few times, big bun little meat but it soaks up the beers. Next time I'll get the beef, looks decent. Fun place to have some beers with a bunch of like minded jersey wearing fans. Quick food service at the counter and the girls keep the beers coming. Big plus... More

Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, yes, but that's where it ends! A Chicago institution yes, but why bother?
