This is the hotel restaurant so we went several times, they were very accommodating to our fussy kids and above average service....Four Seasons of course!

The hotel is worth visiting, the lobby is so beautiful with stunning artworks. We had breakfast, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and extra sauteed spinach. Really delicous. It came with patatoes unfortunately, next time I will ask for fresh fruit. The lattes were great and the ambience is very relaxed, could have stayed there all morning.

The four of us enjoyed our experience dining at Allium after a day of Christmas shopping. There were definitely a few highlights, but overall our consensus was that the dinner was not exceptional.

Again, we stayed again since our first stay at the four seasons was good. Had "brunch" just before dinner and the wings were excellent. For breakfast, got room service and the delivery was top notch and on time.

The staff were just about laying the tables. I asked for a egg white frittata. It is the most amazing cooked frittata I have had. Do stop by and enjoy the restaurant.

We ate at Allium 5 times over the weekend - 3 times for breakfast and 2 times for dinner or after dinner. Loved the vegan dessert and the innovative food. The lamb was excellent, as were the lobster nachos.

Walking down the Four Seasons hallway to Allium this time of year sets the mood with the festive holiday decorations for a fine dining experience. Request a window table for maximum lighting. While the lunch menu is somewhat limited, every item on it is delicious, including the $21 hamburger and fries.

Since I travel a lot...I am usually disappointed in hotel food. This was not the case at Allium. The food and the service were impeccable. Some quick recommendations...for breakfast definitely have the Chicago Hot Dog...because..well it is not a hotdog just a combination of eggs and meat that are perfect. For lunch have the brisket but instead of having it... More

We had breakfast here two mornings. The first was quite good, raisin bran muffin, oatmeal, bagel and coffee. The room is great, either on the window or cosy in dark wood, feeling very rich and relaxing andgreat service. This morning Sunday, my husband has and enjoys huevos ranchos . I ask for one poached egg, bacon and toast.takes longer and... More

Located in the Four Seasons. Request a window seat for a great view. Went for brunch and ordered the Grilled Cheese which was wonderful (sour dough bread, easy over egg, ham or turkey, cheese, etc.). Breakfast is also great. They serve a nice leaf brewed English breakfast tea. A wondergful place to take a date!

Neighbourhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
