I spend half the year in Florida and dream about this place when I am down there (Cuban food doesn't hold a candle to Mexican food). Just basic authentic Mexican food. Very cheap. Easy to do a meal under $10.

Great little Mexican cafeteria style place that sells tasty, freshly cooked Mexican options at rock bottom prices. I was in late night after a heap of celebratory beers and had a plate of meat, beans and salsa piled high and covered in cheese for less...More

This place is exactly what you need. Absolutely no frills establishment that adds a ton of extras into their food. We ordered a couple of big, fat burritos is what we ordered and they were perfect! The staff is friendly and accommodating...we would definitely repeat...More

I don't know how you can take delicious looking ingredients and turn them into such awful tasting food. The beans were gross, the "steak" in my taco was chewy, over cooked and flavorless. The chicken was dry and stringy. The salsa is watery. In a...More

I always go here when I return to Chicago. Many of the same faces are still working there from when I left in 2008. I speak my bastardized Spanish and share many laughs from the past. I love their burritos, especially the burrito a la...More

I loved it there. Maybe the second-best meal I had in Chicago, and the first place meal cost A LOT more...The menu was inexpensive, authentic Mexican Street Food. And suh-weet baby jeebuzz was it good. Here's how good: While my wife and I were in...More

I live in Wrigleyville and this place is certainly a hidden gem! Cash only, but I will say the size of the burrito's is crazy! I frequent this place a lot, especially in the summer. It's a small place, but again, for the price and...More

Went in with a group hours after a Cubs game ended. Place had a steady line of people coming in even that late. Food was very good, and a varied Mexican menu. Very reasonable prices. Everyone ordered burritos, tacos, and lots of other things.

First time visit. The chicken burrito was excellent! Much larger than a Chipotle burrito (and much more meat). Great flavor. A meal and a half.

This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger
Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the
daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a
quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes
or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark,
the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along
Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the
historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a
