We had a lovely family meal here the night after Thanksgiving. For full disclosure we had a Travelzoo for a prix fixe dinner for four. There were five of us. Our son just ordered off the menu and was extremely pleased with his meal. For the Travelzoo we had the chicken spring rolls, grilled Cesar salad, choice of entree and... More

Nice Hawaiian Fusion cuisine and having been to the Original in Honolulu, this is one is just as good without the travel miles. Service has been described by other travelers as slow and I agree. But the food preparation and meals are excellent. Their cod dish was delicious and you must not leave without having the Chocolate Souffle. Keep in... More

First of all, this is a really nice restaurant that is actually kids friendly. That is not always easy to find. We had an array of appetizers with a canoe of 2. We went there from a recommendation from a friend to try the butterfish. We were not disappointed. It was really delicious and properly cooked just right. Love their... More

Can't complain about the quality of food. Both appetizers and mains were very good. When a meal for two costs $200 however, I expect the service to be very good as well and it just wasn't. Our young waiter was friendly and helpful but drinks were delivered slowly and not as ordered. Water glasses were left unfilled and empty appetizer... More

I had a business dinner there to meet a colleague and the dining experience was pretty bad. The waiter was kind of fake friendly, probably because he was uncomfortable with the huge delays in the kitchen. The excuse was that they had several private dining parties - which to me is not an excuse for a restaurant. Also the place... More

This was a first time at this establishment and found to be an excellent and unique evening. Although this was quite a busy night and the noise level was very high we did enjoy the evening. The Hawaiian fusion menu was very good. Very recognizable dishes that were uniquely prepared. We mixed a variety of appetizers before ordering the main... More

One of our favorite places to eat, the food is wonderful, waiter had many suggestions. However, if you want some of their "price fix," deals you have to ask. Don't understand why we waited for 15 minutes for the waiter, on a Sunday night at 6:30 when the place was not busy.

The food is wonderful but the dessert it the reason I go to Roy's. You have to try the Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle.

Food was great as usual, butter fish and steak, short ribs, service was really slow this time. Aloha hour was so crowded and slow service we couldn't get the Drinks and apps we wanted. Dinner device was pretty slow too, had to wait for butter, bread, water, drinks, etc. wait for the valet was even worse!! They need more staff.... More

We love(d) Roy's, we have been visiting the restaurant for years in the cities where it's established. So we, again, went to the Chicago one and it was disappointing. Service: we had at least 6 different staff people at our table without any system, 3 different people pouring water - we don't drink iced water and I told the first... More
