We really like going here. The food and service are always spot on. Very handy location to theaters, shopping, etc. Can't go wrong here.

I'm a vegetarian and I found there were options there that I could have. The eggplant parmesian in my opinion was a little "blah" but the appetizers were yummy.

I was very disappointed with the service and food at Harry Carey, which is a shame because I really want you to enjoy this place. I went here for a big function, so there were a lot of people in the back room. We had a set menu, which was basically a mini-menu. There were shared appetizers of the calamari... More

Arrived before our reservation, seated right away! Classy set up, GREAT server! Never felt rushed--in fact he helped us slow down & savor. The toasted ravioli was yummy, great wine and generous portions...we split a Caesar salad, and enjoyed the spaghetti & meatballs, and chicken Vesuvius --although the later was a little too peppery. The singing bathroom attendant was a... More

Great service, food and atmosphere! Everybody cleaned their plates from the tantalizing melt in your mouth filet to the swimmingly good sea bass. Waiter suggested the best wine as well I wish I could remember what the name of it was. Monticello or something similar.

Over the years I/we have dined here several times. The food and service is always very good. My only complaint for this visit was the temperature of the room, too hot.

I had a meeting to attend and just a block away, we found the food and service to be excellent. Be careful though - lunch and midweek seem to be better than dinner on the weekend. Bread was a little dry to start but quickly improved with the seasonal dishes. Will look forward to trying something new here the next... More

When you first enter the restaurant, there are pictures of various celebrities who have eaten there, and that's by no accident. I ordered the grass-fed steak and while this place may be located in the second city, the results were first-rate. The steak, cooked medium, after a recommendation from the waitress, was flavorful and tender. My dinner guests and I... More

Harry was a Chicago staple and left his mark on the city with sports and his food. We had the filet, chicken vesuvio, and pasta. All very good- service was excellent- attentive and responsive. Shared a turimuso which also, very good- a bit price but it's Chicago

I ate here with my two college kids last night. My daughter and I had filet mignon and my son had a New York Strip. We also shared some sides. The food was great, especially the steaks! Our waiter was helpful in explaining the menu and brought a platter of raw steaks wrapped in cellophane to our table to help... More
