I have a Japanese friend who introduced me to good ramen. I have had ramen in Montreal, Vancouver and New York city. The ramen noodles at Noodles by Takashi were very bad, undercooked and mushy all at once. The broth was insipid. Total waste of money.

Never tried these noodles before. Portion was generous and had spring rolls on the side. Staff was super nice and attentive. A little pricey but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious!

The location is a little odd, as we were traveling and did not know what to expect. Situated on the 7th floor of Macy's in a food court, it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be but the food was quick and delicious!

I lived in Japan as a small girl and this brought me back to my childhood. Glad I didn't listen to the other reviews and gave it a shot. Delicious.

After a few days on business trip in America, naturally I develop craving for something Japanese for lunch or dinner..... In California or New York, you can get reasonably decent "Japanese" food. In midwest?? It was a pleasant surprise that I bumped into a noodle shop in the food court in Macy's on North State Street. I always lower my... More

Being a big fan of Japanese ramen, I was delighted to find this place, so I decided to have their shoyu (soy sauce-based) ramen. What a disappointment! The broth tasted like something you made by diluting soy sauce with hot water. I am used to fake, bad quality, heavily-altered Japanese foods in the US, but this ramen was even a... More

If you are familiar with authentic Ramen in Japan, avoid this place. The noodles were rather dismal, and tasteless, the soup stock was okay, but it included Chinese five spice, which is a bit unusual. In place of the usual slices of pork, something like pulled pork. My miso ramen was more tasty than the shoyu ramen and included menma... More
