Me and my husband are Ra Sushi lovers but Valentine's Day was terrible. And there was only 5 people in the restaurant so it wasn't like it was busy when we got there.. we were really hyped up but then was disappointed.. maybe it wasn't the usual chef

It was a horrible experience. I've been multiple times before and now will never go back. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll and received a part shrimp tempura roll part California roll on the same plate. Other than the horrendous food experience the staff was chasing each other around like school children trying to flirt with each other. The entire... More

0/10 this place has gone to hell. The sushi is generic and the drinks are watered down. You couldn't pay me to eat here.

Definitely not the best sushi I've eaten. The ambiance was lacking. Would I come back? Probably not. Not the experience I was looking for with a sushi restaurant. They had really good Sierra Mist and a lot of gluten free options...so that's a plus.

Have had lunch here with friends several times, exceptional sushi, not for an off-the-coast place, but for anywhere...scsllops dynamite are ridiculously delicious

A generic sushi chain. The service is generally good, the sushi is generally decent but not amazing. Happy hour is always fantastic, but normal dinner prices are a little high for what it is.

This is a great Happy Hour, very good service, great prices, their food is very fresh, and wine and beer prices are good too.

Love going here for the early bird menu - wonderful selection of sushi and half price, reduced price for sushi, nice outdoor dining when weather permits. Inside can be noisy.

Located in the Gold Coast at State & Elm, this is an average resto. Service is prompt but food is forgettable. Seaweed salad ($5) is a fair-sized portion compared to what you'd get elsewhere. Chicken yakisoba ($13.60) was over-sauced, too sweet, and chicken was dry and over-cooked. Dining room is very dark at dinner.

Neighbourhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
