Very good food. Totally enjoyed our salad & mussels. My son brought us here because this is one of his favorite restaurants here in Chicago. He did complained that he didn't get as much french fries he use to get.

Enjoyed the food, service and environment! Would return again for dinner! I went with a friend but this would be a great date night spot 😍 and it's BYOB

My husband and I enjoyed the Classic Breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, crispy bacon, toast, hash browns and a sausage patty. Very cheap eats and a lot of food. I had the pleasure of ordering a chocolate milkshake. It was delicious and topped with whip cream and chocolate sauce. The Cafe is very hip. Great food, great music and... More

I discovered this place because I wanted to visit The Empty Bottle, because I'm a fan of the movie "Drinking Buddies." It's off the beaten path, and well worth it! This was one of the best meals I've ever had! I had the crab-stuffed sole, which came with roasted Yukon gold potatoes, spinach, and tomatoes (and, apparently, crack ;). It... More

Went for Saturday brunch and the food was out of this world. Interesting combination type played with veggies potatoes and eggs. Some with meat some without. All in all a truly enjoyable experience in a little neighborhood gem of a restaurant

This is BYO and the best of both worlds. With the Empty Bottle next door, you can walk over and buy yourself a beverage, or bring whatever you want to drink. GREAT food - creative, but hearty fare. You won't find a spot like this just anywhere, so if you're willing to go off the beaten path, come to our... More

We came in about 930am and were able to score a table, though within 15 minutes, the place was full. The waitress was very smiley and helpful and service was very efficient. We had the Migas – (Fried Tortilla Scramble, Yukons, Pico de Gallos, Salsa Verde, Pepperjack) and the Pork Hash – (Braised Pork Shoulder, Yukon Potato, Onion, Tuscan Kale,... More

We live nearby and this is one of our favorite, casual places for dinner. It's also BYOB which makes it very affordable. This is a small place and there's typically a wait for a table. But you can go to the bar next door and order drinks while waiting. It's a very eclectic crowd...locals, artist, old, young, etc. The quality... More

Went to this restaurant on Thursday evening around 8:00. It is small but nice. Two of us and we did not have to wait. they do not serve alcohol of any kind but you can bring your own beer and wine. I had the biscuit with heiloom tomatoe and hummus and it was so good. One of the best biscuits... More

This is a unique, hip place with a super friendly staff. I actually ordered something that wasn't what I expected, and asked to order something else instead. They were very cool about it. And then I tried the Mashbrown. OMG-that thing was the most delicious potato concoction I have ever eaten. I will definitely be back!
