This restaurant is a convenient place to eat if you work or go to school at or near DePaul in the loop. It's generally very crowded. But the food comes out fast, and it's pretty good. The menu is a mix of Thai and sushi, and there's a lot to choose from at reasonable prices.

This restaurant is in the back of the building known as DePaul Center, which fronts the entire block of State Street between Jackson and Van Buren. You can enter into the Barnes & Noble, shop, then walk to the back of the building to get there. It is now called East Asian Bistro. I have eaten there many, many times... More

To note: the place is now called East Asian Bistro. Quick summary: the menu has a variety of Asian and sushi dishes. Everything looks good. Good service. Sunny, bistro-style ambiance. Priced right. I stopped by for lunch. The menu has a variety of sushi and Asian dishes, from Thai to assorted curries to noodle dishes. Many vegetarian options. My chicken... More

It still has some Thai dishes on the menu but mostly selling sushi rolls. The dishes I got meets my expectations though not outstanding.

Like others have said before, the restaurant is no longer called My Thai. Rather, it is now pan-Asian, and I decided to give their vegetarian sushi a go. (For the record, they do have a decent number of vegetarian options. I had the shittake mushroom roll, the sweet potato roll, and one other roll that I can remember. They were... More

This restaurant may have changed hands - it changed names - but it's still consistently delicious with a nice atmosphere, great service, diverse menu and reasonable prices.

This is no longer My Thai. I can't remember the name but the lobby of the building has a My Thai sign still up. I took my niece here and we both had the Thai box lunch with tempura, a roll, soup and an entree. Both were super tasty. Service was exceptional. Looked bright and airy inside. We will definitely... Decent Thai food with fast service and they also have a bunch of noodle dishes on the menu. We were lucky enough to get the last desert of mango-sticky rice. Thai tea was quite good. The rest of the food was average Thai.

This restaurant serves basic Thai that one expects when seeking a Thai lunch in the DePaul Building at State and Van Buren. I have had the Pepper Steak and the Garlic Chicken. The portion is ample, and the rice is served with the meal. The food is what I expect, which is a stir-fry slightly thickened with corn starch. The... More

I eat here often - work and pleasure, and highly recommend it for a fast, high quality meal. The atmosphere is loud, but pleasant, and all of the noodle dishes are good. If they say it's spicy, it is, so beware.
