While one woman was wiping down the walls, another staff member was taking a large order while a line formed. The woman taking the order never acknowledge us or offered to get help. After waiting several minutes, I left angry

This Starbucks seemed unprepared for the traffic of a busy hotel. It felt unkempt and seemed to be ill-suited to big crowds. Given that it's on Michigan Avenue in a large hotel and near many other large hotels, I was surprised.
So no condiments and they don't toast the bread (english muffins) on their breakfast sandwiches. This place needs help. Def. avoid this location if you can.
Honestly, this staff was not as outgoing on a weekday mmorning as many, many other Starbucks I've visited. They got the job done, but not much else. Overcharged me for my Starbucks cup refill, but I was not prepared to quarrel with them. Convenient location.
It had some chairs and tables outside, making it feel like a sidewalk cafe, so we can sit in the sun. It was a little cold when I went in October, so most people were inside where it was cosy and warm.
What can I say? It is a Starbucks - so you know what you are getting. The baristas were all friendly and the location can't be beat if you are staying in the south loop on Michigan Avenue.
