Go to this place. It is delicious! I bring everyone I travel to Chicago with here. We split a burrito and either pancakes or French toast which is like dessert. Fresh ingredients too! Go on a weekday, because lines on the weekends are really long!

Went for the first time to bongo room for lunch. Normally I've been on weekends for brunch. I was very pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches are delicious - would highly recommend the tuna salad. Everything tasted fresh. There was no wait. I'd recommend trying bongo room for lunch anytime.

This was my third visit, the previous two were amazing! I arrived on a Saturday morning, the weekend the Chicago Cubs were playing the World Series, expecting a very long wait. I was pleasantly surprised when the wait was only 30 minutes. I ordered a cup of Intelligentsia coffee, sat on the bench and waited. When you're drinking this coffee... More

Red Velvet pancakes! Nothing more to say. Go, endure the wait if there is one, and check this place out. You will not leave disappointed.

We went here after hearing about the French toast chocolate tower on the Food Network. The wait was long, the pancakes were tough (very tough) and drowning in sauces. We had the steak and eggs burrito which was bland, the meat was tough, and the meat tasted like it was cooked in the same pan as shrimp (there was a... More

Good food tends to get busy. If you need to wait there is a Trader Joe's right across the seat to do some shopping while you wait

Maybe I should've ordered from the "specials" section. I ordered something from the standard menu and I wasn't impressed at all. It looked great though. I was in there during non-peak hours so maybe that was the issue. I had been in there on a Saturday afternoon before, and everything was better.

The Bongo Room on Wabash is a great place for breakfast or brunch in the Loop. The food was excellent and the portions were large. Don't go however if you want to carry on a conversation. The place is LOUD. You almost have to yell to be heard.

We had a couple in from out of town and it was recommended by other to try Bongo's for breakfast. We had never been there either so we all went to give it a try. The restaurant is a bit hard to find because there is not very big signage, but I guess it didn't matter because there wasn't an... More
