Visited at lunchtime, 2 of us had ham, egg and chips while the other one had a coronation chicken sandwich. The sandwich was lovely but the ham, egg and chips were mediocre to say the least. Presentation wasn’t brilliant and the chips were awful. Such...a shame as it’s in a lovely place with spectacular views. However, we would not return.More

If you want nice food at a fair price avoid this pub. We sat outside enjoying the view and the pub looks very nice from the outside with floral displays and lovely position by the ferry. However the sandwiches we ordered were not value or...tasty. Thick bread with little filling of prawns and the beef full of fat and gristle. Not recommended. Wish we had complained at the time as poor quality should not served to people. Seagulls did well! Rip off.More

Dear Linda666 Thank you for taking the time to review us although we are saddened by the tone of the comments you have made. Constructive criticism is welcomed but is there any need to be so rude? We, and any hospitality venue would prefer to...More

Ideally situated after a walk around Mt Edgecumbe and plenty of outdoor seating. Service was friendly and fast but £9 for a coronation chicken sandwich - seriously! That is about a 1500% markup. We know that there is a cost of living (greed) crisis and...the effects of Brexit / pandemic but I think some are cashing in on it. If you want to spend over £30 on two beers and a bog standard sandwich with half a dozen crisps but in nice surroundings then it fits the bill.More

Brother and sister in law were visiting from Wales. Visited Mount Edgecombe to walk the dog and popped in afterwards. We only intended to have a drink but stayed for lunch. Meals were lovely and fresh served really quickly by really friendly staff. I’ve never...seen keel and potato soup made so thick, but it was delicious. Ciabattas and pate were also lovely. Well done team, we’ll be backMore

We went for Mother's Day so of course very busy and staff working hard. We had a lovely time, well attended to and food great. Some of the other customers thou... Jeeze, they are saints to put up with them! Crazy award goes to a...local who felt her wine had 10ml less wine in than asked for and went home to measure it then came back and complained!! That and large parties turning up on mother's day and expecting to be catered for, then moaning if couldnt.More

Visited here with a large party of 10 which included children and dogs. Staff friendly and accommodating (bowls of water given to dogs also!). Food arrived very quickly for a large order and no complaints, nice selection of desserts also. Everyone was happy and would...visit again soon.More

Disappointed…. beer was flat, ciabatta was stodgy, burger was fussy and not great. Real shame as it’s been years since we’ve been here and was no where near as good as we remembered.

Just spent two very lovely days at The Edgcumbe Arms and would highly recommend it. The rooms are very comfortable, food was top class and the staff could not do more for us. There are great walks from the front door along the coastal path,...so our visit to Cawsand, through the gardens of Edgcumbe House was was stunning. Our dog loved it too (very dog friendly!). Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back!More
