if possible try to go on a weekday as the weekends are always crowded, once seated the waitress was fast and pleasant, the food has ample portions that came quickly and arrived hot, the prices are average for this area, the only drawback is it can get noisy from other tables, otherwise the food was excellent. I would not hesitate... More

Stopped in with family for breakfast. Had the famous French toast. Giant slices of French bread cooked French toast style. It was great Large portions and very tasty.

Best time to go is definitely after noon. Had and omelet and pancakes, omelet was great, no so much the pancakes. Coffee is very good and Araceli is the best..she really took care of my family and our needs. En español e Ingles.

We have been to both the Elgin and Algonquin locations and they are both equally delicious. This time we went to the Elgin location. On this outing, my husband and I each had the omelette wrap special with egg beaters. We substituted fruit for the hash browns. I had the pancakes and he had wheat toast. I brought most of... More

We have never had a bad meal here. The Mickey Mouse pancakes for the kids are huge- easily shared between two kids. I love the French toast and my husband loves the meat skillet. Meal portions are generous and we've always had great service as well.

Excellent food and service but be prepared to wait to be seated especially on weekends. Two locations owned by local.

I too was excited to go here in light of the great reviews, but was not overly impressed. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. It was a good, solid meal. However, nothing about it made it any better than what you might get at any other breakfast place. Like others have said, the service was excellent. Really friendly... More

I was excited to go here in light of the great reviews, but was not impressed. I got the Grand Marnier French Toast which included great toppings on hard bread that seemed to be stale. My wife was equally unimpressed with the chicken and waffles. Perhaps we just got the wrong thing. The service was excellent. Really friendly folks.

We go to Burnt toast on a regular basis, every couple months. The food is always fresh. We usually order biscuits and gravy, belgium waffle, and sometimes sausage eggs and pancakes. This past time though i saw the specials board. It had sweet potato and chorizo (mexican sausage) hash. I now have a even tougher choice on what to eat.
