A group of 8 of us had a lot of sweet treats to select from. The eggs Benedict were perfect and the spicy Bloody Mary was a hit. A warm donut with bacon bit sprinkles or the Jan filled crepes to share. Had a great time.

We went here for my birthday! The food was very tasty with a good selection. We thoroughly enjoyed getting wine flights and trying a variety of wines. Wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend their sister restaurant, The Cellar, as well for smaller groups.
We both found the food much to "rich" (that is to say, sauces were excessively "creamy" for our taste) and left us feeling queasy and overly filled in spite of not being overly indulgent. We chose not to return.
We had a dinner for a large group- 12 and it was wonderful. I had been there before prior to the new owners and enjoyed it. It was still great. Very good service, interesting cocktails and delicious food. The starters of lobster bisque and brussel sprout salad we very good. The main courses were also very good. And we loved... More
We enjoyed a great dinner just a couple of nights ago at this establishment. The comfortable welcoming atmosphere was quite engaging. The General Manager even hosted our ten year old granddaughter on a tour of the restaurant. Cocktails were well-prepared, and wine choices abound. We started with four appetizers for our party of ten, including stuffed artichokes, steak tartar, Brussel... More
Great food...this is our special occasion restaurant. We wish the tables were not so close together, but otherwise food and ervice can't be beat.
Five of us had a long, leisurely dinner with fresh appetizers, excellent entrees, and fine wine. We also met the new-ish owner and heard his story of learning the fine dining business from the bottom up. He is active and exercising a positive influence on the vibe of the place.
Had dinner with our son here to celebrate and found menu options interesting and tasty. Service was great! Had a trout dish that was fresh and very good and dessert was also excellent.
I had been before for dinner and this time enjoyed a relaxing brunch. The food was good...I had a spinach and mushroom crepe. Service was pleasant but slow
Thank you for coming back to check out our brunch! Sorry if the service wasn't as fast as we like it to be, our brunch crowds can get quite large. Still, glad you enjoyed your crepe and we hope you'lll be back to try some more food! Hope to see you again very soon, Kevin, Owner More
Because of the proximity of Northwestern, it seemed to me that many of the restaurants in Evanston have similar menus and ambiances. The Stained Glass seemed to pull it off as one of the best, and we were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was at the end.
So great to hear, Glenn! We try and make every meal a little something special. We hope you'll dine with us again next time you're in the area! Hope to see you again very soon. -Kevin, Owner More
