The food is consistently good, and a nice variety. My partner loves the variety of meaty meals. And the beer selection is good (from what I'm told -- I don't drink beer). The fish and chips are good - that is my usual selection, or a burger. The wine selection is decent but could be a bit more interesting.

Great, authentic, Irish pub, drink and food. You will not be disappointed. I will come back when in the Chicago area. Don't miss this one. Would post a photo of the fish and chips but I ate them to fast.

My daughter chose the Celtic Knot for her rehearsal dinner. We reserved a private back room that accomodated 30 people and hired a small Irish band. It was a blast! Oh, and the food is excellent too! We will be back!

The fries are perfect. Let's start there. The pickles on the side are perfect as well. I had the Irish blt both times, bacon was exceptional, bread fresh and crisp, and did I mention the fries? Not too loud, lots of seating, attentive and mannerly barkeep. Party of six the first time; two nights later we decided the simplest solution... More

Have been visiting Evanston for the last 15 years, with my 2 sons in Northwestern, now living in Chicago. Always search out Irish pubs, due to my ethnicity. Have to say I have only been here for lunch, not for dinner, and never for a wild time watching Celtic football, so take all that in consideration.....Have visited authentic pubs in... More

Really enjoyed this place. The staff were particularly friendly and prompt. The food was just really good. The kids are not back at NU, so the crowd was light. Will return there next time in Evanston

Wow - I felt like I was back in Ireland! The atmosphere, the music, the food - outstanding. I loved listening to the musicians playing traditional Irish music - awesome! Thank you for creating a longing to return to this charming restaurant.

We visited the Celtic Knot on a Friday evening and had no problem getting a table. The place was half full which I don't understand because our meal was very good. I ordered a turkey burger topped with grilled onions and mushrooms without the bun and a salad. My husband had a regular burger, and my son had their chicken... More

I've been here several times, service has been good and food is delicious. Atmosphere is very much like sitting in an Irish or Scottish pub. Now, if only they had haggis (my favorite from my time in the Highlands)!

We met a friend and sat outside for dinner last week. The menu was extensive but we managed to order three fish and chips and one pork chop, all of which were great. On tap beers and hard cider came in two sizes. Our waitress was great and left us with a pitcher of water when we were done with... More
