We live in Evansville,IN and try to make it a point to time our trips to St. Louis so that we hit Belleville at meal time so that we get to eat here. We have never been disappointed and learned quickly to split a meal. Whatever you do,save room for the banana pudding, WOW!

Chose because of the location close to the hotel, because it wasn't a chain and the TA rating for restaurants in the area. Was seated quickly. Waitress came fairly quickly and took my order (shrimp po-boy w/ red beans and rice). Order arrived in about 15 minutes. Sandwich was huge with lots of shrimp. Bread looked and tasted more like... Not only are the portion gigantic but the food is incredible! I am in love with their rolls that are really the size of a big bun. I have never had something here I didn't enjoy and we make it a point to come here every few months from Lincoln county missouri.

Recommended here by the hotel staff. I always ask for no chains. On the outside it looks a bit like a chain. The parking lot was full on a Tuesday night but then I'm not sure alone eats at home any more. I was frightened by the size of the menu, because who can have that many good things in... More

came here with a party of 14. i made a reservation for 1:15, which they then made me call them 30 minutes before to confirm that we were still coming. kinda annoying. then when we got there (yes, we were all there) they made us wait 15 minutes past our reservation time before they seated us. Super annoying, especially considering... More

I had the Jambalaya. It was thick and tasty. It was huge. We also had the ribs and crab crusted tilapia. HUGE portions and ended up taking lots of it home. The service was helpful. The only disappointment was the banana desert. Not really what we hoped for but it was big enough to feed a family of 4.

This place gives you a lot of food for the money. It's too much food to be honest. Service was below average at best. They seem to really struggle with filling up your drinks and taking the empty plates away so you wind up trying to flag a waitress down to get your drinks and stacking your plates high on... More

Let's talk frankly: if you're coming in this spot it is because of the huge portions: they're ridiculously huge! Then, if you take something fried, it is good they are from the south, they know how to fry. But, if you come here to have a decent piece of meat, well...wrong place. Meat is basically not good, low quality. I... More

Whenever we travel to or through the area this is always a stop! The variety of food is amazing & prices are good. I have never had a complaint about food or service here. It does get crowded so off hours are best

Very large portions. Catfish tasted a little muddy. Bread was great. Fried macaroni and cheese was good. Everything else was just okay.
