Quiet tea house in Highland Park selling eclectic tea and sandwich choices. A bit over prices for the quality. The locale was nice and decoration very interesting. Belongs to Billy a organ from the Smashing Pumpkins. However tea was nothing you can't get from a tea store and food was quite average.

This place was unexpectingly a great place. I was greeted by Mike from behind the counter with a nice hello and friendly question of "have you been here before?" To me that makes any place a go to place. In this day in age folks aren't saying hello anymore and making you feel welcomed. This place has a huge variety... More

Loads of vegetarian and vegan options, a place for a long quiet discussion. Even for a first date, but particularly with a vegetarian

I love this concept and I love their teas. The vibe inside is very cool and is great for friends or dates. It would be even more amazing with cozier couches to solidify the vibe. Or at least drop the prices. It's hard to justify so much for tea even if it is a great atmosphere.

It's a sad tale when the best thing about a tea house is the free wifi and the background music..... We tried three different teas, and they were basically coloured water.....served with a plastic, bear-shaped honey dispenser. We had two of the vegan sandwiches -- the cashew cheese and the avocado/tomato -- which were okay. I doubt very much if... More

I visited Zuzu's yesterday, after travelling from England to Chicago to live out my Smashing Pumpkins dream and go on a pilgrimage that's been a long time coming. A fan for 15 years (now officially half my life!), I've always wanted to visit the city, but when Zuzu's opened a few years ago I knew it was somewhere I needed... More

My husband and I traveled here for Billy's Siddahartha synth show. It was amazing. The tea house is beautiful and the staff we're very friendly. We did not eat here we just had their tea, which was delicious. Definitely would recommend this tea house for tea lovers!

As big fans of the owner, my boyfriend and I decided to visit ZuZu's on our last day in Chicago - what a great decision! Being a HUGE tea lover, I opted for the fantastic 'All you can drink - Tier Two' deal which was only 12.99 and allowed me to sample as many teas under $7 as I wanted.... More

Thanks to Billy for sticking his neck out to be different. You get a good feeling entering to matter who you are. While we are probably not the target demographic, being older, we felt no discomfort here. Quality is the best. and the staff is genuinely happy to serve up a great experience. We will come back with our friends.... More
