This isn't your typical Chinese place. It had a small buffet for lunch. The food taste very authentic and reminds me of Chinese restaurant food before buffets took over. We love Chinese food. We used to love First Wok. We have tried so many times to find something on the menu of Happy Wok that was palatable. Well, tonight was the last time we will eat here. I ordered online and in the space...given for comments, I asked for no onions in my husband's beef fried rice and beef lo mein. He HATES onions. The lo mein was FULL of onions. Other simple requests were ignored. Why offer a place for comments if you aren't going to honor them? I ordered mongolian beef. I have NEVER had this dish with literally handfuls of onions. It has always been made with green onions anywhere else I have had it. The picture is about half of the onions in my meal, I just couldn't eat them all, they outnumbered the pieces of meat. And speaking of the meat, we have NEVER had meat as gross as it is here. It appears to be boiled or steamed. We have tried different dishes each time trying to find something that we could tolerate...sadly this is the last time we spend our money on food that is so unappetizing. We will support the other local Chinese restaurant from now on.More

Earlier this year I got carry out several times from The Happy Wok and was pleased. Last Friday I thought I would try eating there now that you can. The inside is dumpy (not very clean) and they have a gaming area inside the restaurant...that you can hear every foul word people are gamming are saying. My waitress was rude and never came back after she gave me my food. Looked like she was too involved with her phone! Food was ok. Not as good as earlier in the year. Next time I'll try the CHI restaurant. Heard their food was very good.More
Since Covid I have not been able to dine in, however, the carry out portions are good and the food has been delicious!
I ordered online & paid online. It said my food would arrive in 40 mins after an hour I called the restaurant and they didn’t even know I placed my order so the man says sorry & give me 10 mins. 30 mins later I...got this!! 😡😡😡 so in total it took an hour & a half to get a whole bowl of water chestnuts with big globs of cornstarch w/6 shrimp=7.00 & some burnt fried rice!! I even tipped them b4 they even knew I placed an order!! Never again!!More
The atmosphere was calming, Clean, food was hot and the smell was wonderful. The young couple was very friendly and ready to help if need be. My favorite is the soups, always hot and fresh. Love their hot egg rolls, and I'd say many different...types of chicken. Some even with vegetables. We have been going to this restaurant even before it moved to this location. We come to enjoy yourself once a week, It will always be our favorite place to go.More
The lunch buffet offers a good selection of options to choose and have a spicy chicken option. My favorite is a chicken dish that is sweet and has green peppers; I don't remember what the dish is called though. Recently in the evening I ordered...Orange Chicken and it was cooked with perfection. I love the hint of orange in the dish and the sauce was very tasty. The owners are very friendly and want to please their customers. Great family business.More
There are 2 Chinese restaurants in town. This one is by far the best! The crab rangoon actually has crab in it! You can actually see it! Delicious! The combination fried rice is so yummy! Very flavorful! The veggie dish has lots of veggies, too!...Everything I've tried is delicious!More
I think this is a lovely little restaurant. We had a nice lunch here: I'd return! The food was good - I especially liked the wonton strips they serve with sweet and sour sauce that you can munch on while you wait for your meal....The prices are good - you really do get a lot of food for your money. The server was nice enough. I wasn't expecting anything amazing - this was just good, friendly, attentive service. The ambiance was appropriate. It was bright and cheery, and it was very clean. I recommend this place!More
This is my favorite place for a healthy meal. I always order extra so I can eat for a few days. They aren’t heavy on the salt, the veggies are always fresh. Super flavorful!
My wife and I love this place. We either pick up or have it delivered. Food is always piping hot and delicious. A really full menu to choose from.
It has been three years since I last ate here, so I thought I would give it one more try....Wow! That was a mistake. As before the facilities are clean and well kept. Waitstaff service is adequate. The white rice was very good. My egg...roll was edible, not tasty, but edible, the wife's egg drop soup was pretty good. The Mongolian triple was awful. Had the menu not named it as such I would never have been able to figure it out. It might have tasted bad but it was piping hot. I managed three bites and was done. The wife's sweet and sour chicken (sauce on the side) was greasy, like the frying oil was not thoroughly heated and soaked into the coating as it cooked and the sauce had, in her opinion, a odd taste. All I can say is that we will never be stepping foot in that place again.More
We were in the mood for Chinese and drove 35 miles to experience awful food (buffet style). The service was poor. They gave us 1 napkin and never showed up again so we could ask for a couple more. I asked for hot tea ended...up with water. The buffet food was really bad! Never again.More
We gave it a try. We didn't like it. I think their main business may be the gaming machines. Sorry I can't give a glowing review here.
