This quickly became my favorite place to eat locally after moving into the village 3 years ago. Good choice of food from large blackboard. Quality is consistent and I never worry about taking friends there. Staff are always lovely and the pub is cost and welcoming -'give it a try if you haven't been there.

Went as a party of 10 for Sunday lunch, we've been many times before & family members travelled a long distance just for the belly pork which they claim is the best ever. The hot beef banquette is another family favourite. My son had the cheese board which at £8+ wasn't cheap but was extensive enough to be shared by... More

Party of eight for early mid week tea. Plenty of parking in the three parking areas. Friendly dogs are welcome in the bar area which has stone flagged floors, open fire and candles on the tables of many sizes for couples to big parties. Extremely well run establishment. Very helpful friendley and efficient staff. Blackboard menu with loads of tempting... More

Went as a party of six, very quiet on a Monday evening, the hot beef butties are highly recommended as is the belly pork. I had lasagne which I also enjoyed. Consistently good food from this Inn

Although a little bit off the beaten track this pub is well worth a try.The food is standard fare but well cooked and very plentiful.Very rarely do you see a bigger fish than you get for the fish and chips.I will definitely go again.

Been going to the Beehive for years a bit disappointed that they have stopped doing the lasagne which was my favourite dish and swooped to cannelloni which isn't nearly as good. The wine by the glass has gone up quite a big hike so maybe the me for a place nearer home and more reasonably priced pity as it was one... If you live within a reasonable travel distance I can almost guarantee that when you have been here for the first time - you will be back. The food is freshly prepared and you make your selection from a large blackboard that contains a wide variety of meals and styles of cooking. As you may guess, I have been to... More
