I was here with girlfriends and we had an amazing dinner! Started with the Bruschetta Trio, which was very good. I had the Lobster Angelica which was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Another favorite of the group was the Grouper special. The service was excellent - never an empty water glass, yet I never even seemed... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat Italian in Chicagoland. It's a bit on the pricey side and the tables are a little too close together Get a booth and you will be fine.

Agio has terrific food and the service is excellent! The patio is small but its nice to sit outside while we still can. There selection of salads, appetizer and specials of the day are all good!

I had the most wonderful experience with Mike at Agio - very helpful and patient with me when I was deciding on what food to have. His advice was perfect! The food was wonderful and delivered right on time! I would highly recommend them!!

Reasonable service. Nice atmosphere. Seafood stuffed petite pumpkin was different and a treat. The fried calamari was overcooked. Do not see veal picatta often so gave it a try. Found it to be slightly overcooked as well. Tiramisu was ordered and was quiet good, but I like a little more of the strong coffee taste. Overall not bad, but it... More

Good food , large portions, nice wine list and attentive service. White tablecloths , no loud music . I had the lasagne and the carrot cake both would be highly recommended.

While it's a really nice restaurant in the middle of Palatine, it is not a spur of the moment dining out since it is somewhat overpriced

I keep coming back because I have never been disappointed. Seeing these other reviews I wonder if they were submitted by owners of competitive establishments. This place goes far and wide to find great ingredients. hello... sauteed halibut cheeks?! Very friendly staff and they aren't afraid to make something special for you. It's also nice to just sit at the... More

Visiting friends we decided to try Agio again. But alas. Same boring menu as reported the last time. Same boring bread. Is there no innovation, creativity? Feels like the long slow coast on autopilot. Service is friendly, helpful. Kitchen screwed up entree. Wait staff put into terrible position. Luckily did not defend what happened. Improvements can be made. Will they... More

The food was pretty good but the restaurant was loud (spill over from the bar) and not appropriate for a quiet dinner. The service was OK. It was a bit expensive for what it offered.
