We went to Aodake for lunch. I had the scallop hibachi and my wife and friend had the shrimp. The server was attentive and polite. the chef was funny and paid attention to detail. The food was hot and tasted great. We will be going back again soon.

I recommend getting a Groupon. I recommend that you call ahead for seating! Food is good depending on the cook. If you order extra of anything make sure you get what you are paying for and what you asked for otherwise, it just gets split between everyone and you pay for it. Entertaining for everyone.

My date and I were looking for somewhere to go near our activity, that wasn't fast food. We saw a few restaurants listed, and this caught our eye. The restaurant itself seemed clean. The atmosphere was quiet and a little odd for a Friday night. The food was ok, not horrible but not great. I saw many of the traditional... More

The place was crowded when we pop in for dinner. We were promptly greeted as we entered. A few hibachi tables were filled with excited patrons laughing and chatting. We enjoyed the Inari & avocado, avocado cucumber, California roll, the beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura, Yaki soba, ebirah, and gorilla roll. What a delicious meal. Besides this location in Romeoville,... More

Great place to eat. We don't sit at the hibachi unless with a group and just eat at a booth and always good food and plentiful portions. It's a great place to go with family and friends also to celebrate an occasion, such as a birthday! Kids love it!

My son loves Japanese food and wanted nothing more than to go to Aodake for his 8th grade graduation dinner. Even though we did not make reservations, we were seated promptly, which was nice. The woman switched our table to a booth, perfect, then told us our server would be right with us to take our drink orders... 20 minutes... More

Good food, HORRIBLE experience. The service was horrible, from having to repeat what we wanted to eat, to trying to convince the server that we COULD order something on the menu (she kept saying they don't have that, my husband had to show her on the menu). She only saw us once after we ordered and got salad and soups.... More
