Weekday visit had no waiting time like weekends. Many breakfast choices. Food is very good as well as service. Meals are slightly higher than other breakfast places.

This is the place to be for breakfast! Coffee while you wait. Get there early as most of the time there is a significant wait. Even thought there's a wait, it well worth the food!

My wife and I are frequent breakfast people, we have tired many places all around town, and the #1 spot we always go back to is Richard Walkers. The food, excellent, the service, excellent, the staff is friendly, and most important, our coffee cup is always full !!

Richard Walker has never fed me a meal that wasn't delicious. The Apple, Dutch Baby and German Pancakes are awesome! Since they added the extended seating section the wait is not bad at all.

We visited the location years ago in San Diego and really enjoyed our meal. So when we came to Chicago we naturally had to try again. Great food, friendly staff. You must try the apple pancake..

First time visiting Richard Walker's and I must say it was delicious. It was a bit pricey for breakfast but definitely good. Coffee was awesome, you can't just have one cup. I had a basic breakfast with a Belgium waffle, eggs and turkey sausages. The Waffle was very good and definitely had a different taste from others I have had,... More

Good points: Very nice staff, plenty of room, quick service and bacon is thick cut. But they rely on over salting, over sugar-ing, and large portions instead of taste. The eggs, not hard to cook, were mediocre. The other dishes were mediocre or covered in sweet instead of flavor. Good place if you are looking for large portions or a... More

Really great corned beef hash and eggs but hubbys hollandaise was chicken gravy. 😯 Bacon could be cooked more.

We go to Richard Walkers when my wife wants a breakfast with the best crapes and I want the best pancakes. It is expensive, but a good place to go on a special occasion for breakfast. The place has been recently renovated so there is now a special room for groups. My only fault is the staff. You would think... More

Come Hungry and get the Apple Pie Pancake that is about the size of a full Apple Pie. Suggest sharing meals as the portions are enormous. The interior is a little dated and shabby, but the service is good and the food is great!
